I saw speculation on twitter about Lavine potentially being moved to NOLA. But not sure they have interest. I know @Clutch would be all over that CC for #4 & Kuzma package.
Surely, Cyber meant or instead of and? I would be shocked if we could get just the 4th pick for something like Capela and 2 future 1st
Capela and a pair of #1's is too much for the #4 pick in this draft. Also, depending on the protections, future Rockets picks could have a lot of value. The Rockets are trying to win now. Paul and Gordon and Harden and Tucker are not going to be around in a few seasons (except Harden) and those Rockets picks could be lottery picks.
So I guess the reports that Kuzma was not available in an AD trade has changed since? Don't get me wrong--I'd love to get Kuz on this team. Just wondering if the reports were just a smokescreen.
I love, love, LOVE Hunter for the Rockets. I think he could be an excellent fit. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/deandre-hunter-made-for-todays-nba.299045/ I am not discounting Capela in a trade. He does not HAVE to be dealt. But if I could get #4 for him, I believe I do it. Hunter on a rookie deal could really be a find. But on the other hand, @Nook may be right. They could use that to get an established player... but I'd draft and keep Hunter, personally.
Imagine getting Kuzma and 4th, then drafting De'Andre Hunter with the 4th pick then signing DeAndre Jordan. That will instantly shoot us up the top of the west as the favorites. Can we still somehow get Jimmy Butler in this scenario?
This assumes Lonzo/Ingram to NOP as well I'd imagine. Seems like we'd definitely have to include more than just Capela for that, no?

But isn’t him being on a rookie deal sorta insignificant where we stand. With the assumption that we will have very little to no cap space still, and the fact that Hunter will not be as big of a contributor in his first year as a guy like Capela, wouldn’t that go against not wasting Harden’s prime years? I admit I know nothing about Hunter but I can’t imagine Capela’s value contribution can be discounted to that of a rookie outside the top 3 picks. It’s not like replacing Capela with a rookie contract opens up space for a max signing (I’m assuming CP3 ain’t going nowhere).
