Get r done! add #20 pick in the draft as well.

We are giving them a young talent swap, for jaylen who could be the very semi-star harden needs for a center who could be a possible allstar. They get gordon who is better than hayward. It is all in there favor, but ares because Jaylen Brown is gonna be a stud.

That is the worst trade ive seen ever in the history of these boards dude. Rockets will never send out first rounders, Paul Capela, and tucker just to get hayward. They would eat Paul 3 years first. lol Wow

There is no way Tilman allows Morey to get Hayward without sending CP3 out. That's basically 70 Million dollar of nothing. And Brown has only 1 year of rookie contract left, he is going to demand at least 20M a year, which Tilman surely can't afford.

In a vacuum, Horford is going to help you more against the Warriors than Capela will, so there is some sense here, specifically since Capela has more value than Horford and you could likely pick up something additional in a 1 for 1 scenario. Morey pursued AlHo in the past, so we know we likes him as a player.

Horford is a much better defender, can stretch the floor and is just plain smarter than Capela.

    If you could do:
    Capela + Horford / pick
    MLE for DAJ
and use the Bos pick + Nene to pick up a decent rotation wing
    Bring back your bench

I think you could get 60 wins.

    Paul / Rivers
    Harden / Gordon
    Tucker / (rotation wing)
    Horford / Faried
    Jordan /

I like Horford too and there's no way he wouldn't fit like a glove here, the problems here are:

    - if he opts in we can't get him unless we move Clint and PJ + fillers or Gordon
    - if he opts out and gets sign & traded here we end up hardcapped

So, which one is the better option? Maybe do another trade for a player in another spot and then do the sign & trade with Boston even if that hardcap us? Like, in a dream scenario:

    - trade Gordon and Nene for Butler (opt in)
    - trade Capela for a pick or two and Horford sign & traded

The thing i'm not sure about your scenario though, is Horford playing the 4, at this stage of his career i just don't see it...

Talk of the Lakers acquiring Davis to pair with James would I think justify the Rockets keeping Capela to protect the rim.
