Wow man. Maybe they have too much ego to accept they were brutally wrong? Or maybe they just don't know that much about basketball and overrate our players?
Nothing. If Brown & Tatum are off the table... Not interested in Hayward($32M) , Horford($30M PO) or Smart($12M) for Capela & Gordon
Not COULD make, WOULD make for CC. Ainge is pretty generally ridiculous in trade discussions. SnTs are presumably off the table.
upgrade small forward, big forward and center are the things need to do. Raptors has good players in these 3 positions. That's why they can beat warriors
i think worrying about center is our last priority right now imo...think we should focus more on a full upgrade at SF for capela then use the MLE or trade for a center filler who can dunk lobs and rebound.
Boston in: Capela - aquires pivot Ainge covets Orlando: Smart, Hayward - fills immediate needs at PG & SF (Hayward allows Isaac to move to natural PF spot) Houston: AG, Iwundu, Khem Birch - adds superstar talent to 4 spot & defensive depth *Rockets sign WCS, Noel or Nogueira for vet min. MLE to sign Rivers. CP3/Rivers Harden/Gordon Tucker/Iwundu AG/Clark WCS/Birch/Hartenstein Maybe trade EGo and 1st to 6ers for Jimmy Buckets. Philly now has ultra extended floor spacing with Tobias Harris, Redick and EGo to better complement Simmons/Embiid. If so, then also sign Shump w/Bird rights. Future trade. CP3/Rivers Harden/Iwundu/Green Butler/Shump AG/Tucker/Clark WCS/Birch/Hartenstein Sign Michigan's 6'6 defensive stud Charles Matthew's as UDFA (injured).

Dude ain’t you a handyman? Cause you hit the nail on the head!! I like Capela but like stated , this isn’t the G league!! There is no time to wait for him to develop!! Trade him while he is somewhat trending and hope to get something playable and reliable for the season( a bonus pick would be great!). Morey gonna earn his money this summer.... let’s see if he is truly the great GM we say he is. Plus he’s the weakest out of the Starting five and makes more than but two. Big gotta go!
IF they move Capela for a wing …. who the hell's playing the 5 next year ? Do people really think DJ is walking in that door for the T-MLE when he can stay in NY for 4x that ? Quality big men are hard to find …. and teams pay them big money. Just look at Adams in OKC making $25m. DJ in NY making $22m …. or Horford's old ass making $28.9m this past season. There really isn't a viable replacement option for Capela out there for what they can offer. I guess they can call up Marquis Chriss and offer him the minimum.
ive convinced myself we only need a legit starting 3, then use mle on center who can rebound and catch lobs.
We won't get Kuzma, Jackson and Wagner by moving Clint imo, maybe Jackson, Wagner and Hart...also Phoenix is not giving up the 6th pick and Jackson for Ball i think, maybe only the pick.
capeala in exchange for Ayton, 2019 first round 6th pick overall, oubre… this is a trade we all might be proud of right there! they say phoenix owner/ gm is a crack head. so maybe that deal could fly with him?! IDK lol.
