It's not even officially the offseason. Maybe all of the bad stuff will get out of the way before we actually can do anything good.

Soooooo MDA is going to be canned before the season and we're getting a new coach?

Or is this a fire being set under MDA's butt to get him to change the offense and make something happen?

Definitely sounds like MDA being pushed to the exit. If they are truly leading him out, why not just fire him? They let Bzdelik and others go to get a “head start” for assistant coaching candidates. This sounds like a dumpster fire since front office isn’t on same page, but I’m actually curious and somewhat excited about the additions/subtractions on the roster

If anything, these moves just prove how pissed off Fertitta currently is and the reports that came out about him disgusted during the 2nd round ignited all of this it seems..

Yea, this... have to ask, does this help the team catch up to GSW or hurt?

He negotiates just like he coaches. It only makes sense, really.

And Tillman is a cheap **** of an owner, as we all knew.

Tillman just needs to be truthful in saying "I can't have have 3 Max guys" I can't afford them, I want to rebuild.

James Harden for the 3rd pick of the Knicks

Chris Paul to the Lakers for any young talent

Clint Capela, Eric Gordon, P.J Tucker for draft picks

Just Tank, If the Astros can become a Dynasty like that, why Not.

Hmmm seems like it’s Ty Lue who might be our next coach after all.

I noticed Tillman Fertitta was at Astros games lately, hanging out with Jim Crane.

No Doubt Tillman must have asked Jim how did the Astros become so good, Tank, Get High Draft Picks, Draft Stars, Win Championships.

Look at the Warriors, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green all Drafted and Developed, By the Warriors, that is how you build a Dynasty.

Tillman just needs to be truthful in saying "I can't have have 3 Max guys" I can't afford them, I want to rebuild.

So, anyone still think Butler would actually want to come here?

This is a stunning development. @KellyUnchained also reported that assistants Brase and Gunning will not be brought back AFTER next season.

No clue what is going on here.

Weren't people originally upset BEFORE all the assistant were fired?

That's as much an issue as anything. Want everyone to be going into make or break years?? Fine. GREAT!! But "everyone" doesn't exist anymore. How are you going to get quality assistant coaches with what's going on.

Additionally, there's just a different "feel" when you go from working on extension to firing most assistant coaches and back out of extension talks. There's just a "negative" feel with it.

Personally... I'm good. Lol. I wish they'd just pull the band aid and offer him like $4 of his $5 million to walk away.

So Fertita is too cheap to fire him and eat the last year? LMAO

@cyberx, what do you mean front office isn't aligned with the coach/owner? Are you saying the coach and owner are aligned?

Just fire the guy, let him go. Wait, you're too cheap. (I don't give a **** what he says.) You don't want him. Not a 3-year extension. Not a one-year extension. A performance based extension? LOL You really are trying to slap him in the face, piss him off & get him to resign. GTFO!

Maybe Tilman & Morey are the ones who need a "performance based" contract.
