Now it's possible i mistook him for another guy but pretty sure he never breaks any news and he's considered in same range of guys like Bucher, Kennedy so, yeah...

Chris is due $40+ million a year through age 37. Chris has no room to complain lol, he should just be happy if he's sent somewhere warm.

That’s why maybe the pick would help to move his contract. The Sixers would then have a really good point guard, even if he’s overpaid, plus a pick that could be useful in a trade to get another player.

It *could* be a move that gets them to the Finals.

Yeah, it's Kyler. That doesn't get the juices flowing.

Nevertheless I will probably waste 5 minutes and 37 seconds of my life on ESPN NBA Trade Machine to see if any of the teams he mentioned is feasible. (The first step is admitting you have a problem.)

This post is on that good ****. Blazers got swept, but apparently gave GSW all they can handle. We won 2 games on the other hand and played against both their lineups. But yeah... Rockets are fool's gold and Blazers are more serious? LOL

That’s like saying the Rockets wouldn’t have wanted Chris Paul when they had James Harden.

Chris Paul took the Rockets from a 2nd round playoff team who couldn’t compete with the Warriors at all to a team that was a true contender and were capable of defeating them and winning it all.

Will you guys do this trade: Mozgov (one more year to go, 17 million expiring contract) + Fournier + Orlando 2019 16th pick for Capela and fillers?

Really, then why didn't he just sign Ariza for one year?

And moving parts to get Butler. If only we had a GM who could manage that.

Fertitta is just looking like a cheapo. Sounds to me that his philosophy is if "we're probably not gonna win a chip" then just burn it down and make money.

And why does the food suck so much compared to minute maid and nrg?

The rockets gave up a little too much for CP3. And 2nd place don’t get no trophies. Morey messed that up, let’s be clear. Now that contract only adds gas to the fire!! We basically crippled ourselves and now are in a seriously F up situation because of Morey, and his goons.

Let’s see what this Number Muncher has up his sleeves!!

This year should be his toughest yet....I temper expectations to the Lowest degree.

Ariza signed a contract for $15M. No competent FO would sign Ariza for $15M.

Nope and you can't do that anyway, we can't take back 35M while sending out 15M since we have no cap space.

Iggy got more for multiple years.

One year of going into the luxury tax to make a run is completely reasonable. I don't know that ariza would have gotten us over the top but he definitely would have made us better

But Fertitta wants to avoid the repeater tax in 2023 or something.

Here’s my ideal scenario, and it’s hard to gauge money so for all the financial buffs out there, don’t kill me if I’m a few dollars off.

Kemba is leaving Charlotte. That’s just a given. The man wants to win. However, Charlotte is the only team that can offer him the super max. WHAT IF, Kemba agrees to a sign and trade to a contender in order to maximize earnings and still win, and we send Charlotte CP3 and Capela, along with draft pick compensation for Kemba and one of their bad contracts, say nic batum or biyombo.

This gives Charlotte the opportunity to either remain competitive (if their goal is the 8 seed in playoffs) or, tank, but still have something to draw fans to the stadium. They’ll have a young center in capela that could be a building block or a trade chip in the future. And they’ll have CP3 who will be playing in his hometown and will be able to sell tickets. He’s still good enough to take a veteran laden team to the playoffs, and they get a good young player instead of letting Kemba leave for nothing.

We’ll have a second true all star to work with harden that can work on or off ball, hit the three, and is a good locker room presence. Morey could then try to get creative with packaging EG and batum somewhere to bring in a 3rd true star, but that’s unlikely. This also gives us a 2nd guy with the same window as harden, but without the injury concerns of CP3. Kemba is also a better fit in the Moreyball system

he didn't mess that part up. they got as close to a championship as they've been since the dream days. there was always the understood risk outside the 2-3 year immediate window. looks like some of you can't understand that. doesn't make it wrong when your end goal is to win a ship

Bledsoe easily. Not sure how this is even a question. Bledsoe at 17.5 is an asset whereas CP at 40 mil is a huge liability.

CP3 is better than any reasonable trade offer would get us in return.

Feritta is making the team worse

And fillers. Why not? A veteran shooter plus expiring contract and first round pick. That fills every need. Why wouldn't you do the trade?
