Really hard to believe Love is 30 years old with how he's been...not sure that's a good thing.

If there was some way to get Love and keep Capela, I'm all for it. Basically we could slide him in at PF, put Tucker at 3 and never lose any spacing...but I'm not sure how we could get salaries to match...

so that means getting love and replacing Capela...which I guess I understand...it's a lot easier to replace Capela than a player like Love...but Love is oft injured too so...

If we get love he could easily put up

Aaron Gordon would be amazing here!

If I were to rank the young players in the league based on current needs/fit, future potential, attainability it's hard to think if a better player to target. Not sure how Orlando feels about him, but I'd be making calls that way.

Obviously there are better fits, but they might bit be attainable (ex Leonard).

 

More needed vs the warriors is the true question.

Moreys hard on for stars is a little too hard if he really wants k love ..... that contract , with injury history, and is getting up there in age ??

For God sake get younger, not another injury prone, 30 year old big man in NBA years means 50 year old in human years.
Kevin Love looks like he doesn't lift weights.

Go get Aaron Gordon a 25 year old Forward, who has been healthy, and in shape.

 

My two cents... why do we keep getting players that we want 3-4 years after when we should have gotten them?

He may not be available. So, then you have to get players that are available. When it comes to star level players you don't get to *pick and choose* all the best attributes and then pull them off the tree. You have to see who is available and the player that is the best fit, though they may also have their own drawbacks.

 

Because their value lowers to the point where they are available. You can only get what you can afford

If they sign Shumpert for the full MLE, then they can send him to Philly and acquire Butler and Love. I don’t hate McGee off the bench. He brings a lot of what Capela does.
