Maybe u r right, I watched their game 6, after the game finished I was filled with admiration. Maybe moral victories don’t worth a damn, but my respect for guys like pbev is higher than when he was a rox right now. Them getting swept was expected, winning one game is a moral victory, winning two games? Were expecting that? Nothing but respect for them right now.

Now our rockets on the other hand? If u look back at the garm we at least should force a game 7. Without kd we should blow them out. They are not the clear favorites in terms of talent without kd. We were disappointing. That’s the difference imo

David West does not understand statistics nor does he understand how to take statistics and optimize your chances of scoring. Of course he is going to trash the system that Morey has developed -- it makes him feel insecure!

Statistics should definitely be used. Now what should be debated is whether to go to the extreme, like the Rockets have done, and in so doing become too predictable. I'm all for a motion-based, fast paced offense that gets good looks, but still prefer shooting 3's and shots close to the basket.

Morey needs to find a REBOUNDER and/or another All Star to compete...we've got 5 years worth of analytics to show that the Rox are at a 5-9 point disadvantage against the warriors. It should be more than that. If he can't get another All Star then at least a damn rebounder. Frustrating watching the rockets not block out while watching the ball bounce of rims up in the air with their feet in quicksand

 

Rebounding is a team effort. The Warriors intentionally stayed bigger than us and they out hustled us.

 

Not sure we should blow out a team that's consists of the core from that 73-win team of a few years back.

But you're right about one thing: We were definitely disappointing. Regardless of what was actually going on in their heads, this Rockets team didn't seem to display a sense of urgency in this game until the situation was dire.

The main difference is the Warriors pass the more and imo more importantly have more off ball movement.
