John Wall might not even be fit for the whole of the next season. Well, good that you already admitted that it is a knee jerk reaction.
Lol I'm not even looking that deep into it. This is just from a pure salary cap matching perspective. Most of us want Paul's salary gone....present company included...but it's not realistic. These were the only options I see out there that's maybe feasible. "We have to take back Paul and HOW much money left??" "But we get rid of Wiggins, Mr. Taylor" "....interesting...."
At this point I'd consider that Drummond trade lol...if we get Clint out of here too...and a new coach. This team needs to basically consider changing everything but Harden
we’re so fcked... just demand a trade Harden...CF hates him, so he won’t be missed anyways...don’t waste your time here
Cause it’s never Harden’s fault right? Can’t win with Dwight who was a legit star (and a big ****ing deal when we got him) and our biggest FA acquisition of all time maybe? Can’t win with CP3 another legit star. Had the necessary supporting cast AND he even had chances with a Spurs missing Kawhi and a Warriors missing Durant. How much more help and or luck does he need to finally get it done? He had everything he needed this post season and he blew it. Again.
I would, I don’t want to see Harden traded, and there’s no way in hell I see Tatum ever coming close to current Harden, let alone Brown no Harden trade will make me happy, but he might as well demand one for the sake of his legacy and rest of his career...carrying role players and flaming out in the postseason won’t have u being remembered fondly Harden ain’t winning a title here...sh*t, he probably won’t even make another trip to finals here...just go James
Dwight been bad since he got away from Orlando. CP3 is at an age where retirement has to be considered. You compare that to the Warriors where you have two MVPs on one team and 3 actual all-stars then yeah...compared to that Harden has little help. We got one year of prime CP3 and he pulled his hammy when we needed him the most. It is what it is.
All this talk about “basketball isn’t fair with Durant.” If only GSW didn’t have Durant.” “**** KD for going to Golden state.” “If only they were missing Durant.” Well... we got our wish and still lost. Steph showed up when it mattered most. The BIG time. The most important and crucial times. There’s a reason why he’s a 3 X champion and soon to be 4. There’s a reason why he won a ring even before KD got there and why he’s a media darling and Harden is viewed as a choker. It is what it is.
He's a 3x champion because he's on a better team. I honestly think it's debatable about him being a better player. He could end up with more titels than Lebron, don't make him better than Lebron. Don't make him better than Malone. Don't make him better Stockton or Hakeem or anyone with less titles. He's on a stacked team. If Harden had 4 bad games this series like Steph did then Rockets get swept. Curry can coast and have bad games and Harden can't, his team loses. That's the benefit of being on a stacked team.
We had the better team the moment KD left. He couldn’t capitalize the on the opportunity of a lifetime. A chance like this won’t come around again. They had to play Cook, Bell, Jerebko and Mckinny for crying out loud. Game 5 and 6 proved he’s never gonna beat GS being the #1 guy. You can give him a pass though.
