He needs to quit standing around the Rockets logo at mid court when he does not have the ball.

Every time CP3 had the ball he would just start pouting and walking towards the other basket.
How about set some screens or around a pick and set up a wide open shot for himself?

The problem with our offense seems to go away when CP3 has the ball, guys move an cut, but when Harden has the bal its that dang iso offense.
It feels like I am watching the Steve and Catino era all over again, albeit with a bit more skill on Harden's part.

It got so bad that the Jalen Rose called him out in one of the breaks and JVG called him out several times throughout the game.

I don’t see what’s the difference? So KD plays with better players? That’s obvious we’ve known that for 3 years now.

It’s easier for KD to score? Agreed.

Harden still has to equal or eclipse what KD is doing.

And tbh outside of the 1st half of game one Harden has been his regular season self from and scoring and efficiency standpoint and he’s also been the second best kd Defender after tucker.

    Harden getting it done.

The playoff narrative is stupid his play is fine.

The other parts of the big 3 (cp3 and Clint)
    Need to score more period.

I’m watching dame Lillard go off and some of these other players in the post season and there great but those guys haven’t had to play the best defense in the nba designed solely on stopping you even at the expnese or winning in Utah and now playing the best team and one of the best defense in the nba in GS.

Harden if he can get through this series will prob avg 40 ppg against either Portland or Denver those teams are not great at D they can’t do anything to slow James down.

Except when I praised Lou Williams and Trez for a shooting frenzy in their win against GSW someone responded it was because GSW has a terrible defense....LOL

Well whoever said that is factually very wrong lol.

Anyone with eyes can see that GS and Hou are playing at a much higher level on defense than against their 1st round matchups.

That’s no knock on the clippers or Utah but it is what it is.

I think even KD said it before game 3.

They respect the clippers but knew they couldn’t beat them, they know houston can beat them so their level has been raised.

It’s not like when harden standing there that the defender isn’t glued to his hip.

Let him rest he’s busting his ass on d picking up his rebouding and just dropped 29 and 41 points in b2b games shooting extremely efficient in both games from 2 and 3.

Plus it lets Paul and Gordon play 4 on 4 which is a lot easier than 5 on 5. Especially when u factoring in the best defender on GS is always on harden whether he has the ball or not.

Why do people not respect Harden's game, particularly, the supposed Rockets fans in this forum? You wonder why the Rockets or Harden doesn't get respect from the national media. This is why. Can anyone of you criticizing Harden's game here tell me if KD, Steph, Clay or anyone else ever change who they were in the regular season in the playoff. They all do the same thing and not anyone of you ever complained about it. Moreover, you don't hear any complain from their own fans about it either. You guys get mad at the media for getting at Harden or the Rockets and forget that it is the narratives that you guys are feeding the media that are being regurgitating. If you don't like your team or your players, how do you expect others to like them? Harden don't do this, Harden don't do that, yet he is still producing at high level. Curry does exact same things he did in the regular season, he is the darling of the NBA, albeit, his production shrinks in the playoffs. You know why? Because his fan base put out a positive narratives that reverberate through the national media. You remember when Steve Kerr allowed the players to coach in a game? It was ingenious to the Warriors' fans everywhere because they believe the ideas was meant to reinvigorate the team. If Mike D'Antoni do the same thing here, he would be vilified by our own fans and call it stupid. Stupid or not, the Warriors fans did not think so, why should the national media think that - - and they didn't. In fact, it was praised by the national media with the only exception of the local media of the opposing team who thought the idea was disrespecting to their team. Players and teams can be criticized, Rockets and Harden for that matter are no exception, but to nit-pick on stupidity feeds in to the narratives and that, my friends is beyond bad but outright ludicrous.

This was a take I didn't realize. Harden is stationary and at times pouting to get the ball back.

Genuine question. Why do so many people bring up Jeremy Lin? Is that the bar you are setting for Harden?

It's baffling people are thinking this guy is above criticism. I'm sure we won't win this series because of his style and everything about Mike D'Antoni.

It’s probably also too hard of a way scoring.

People have been saying him and Durant been almost identical production wise in this series. But man this is such a gross statement. The amount of energy and efficiency is night and day.
