I want Harden to succeed...but I have to agree with Pippen when he said his style of basketball doesn't win championship..when ball in hand he plays hero ball else when ball not in hand plays zero ball (no movement).

but hes playing better than Curry & Klay combined right now

 

Harden's FG is dependent on him hitting tough covered shots. In the playoffs the defense is much more tighter & refs allow much more physicality so obviously his FG% always takes a dip in the playoffs, but this playoffs his FG% has been just inexplicably terrible.

Great defense by the Rockets this half.
Over playing on the 3 point line can cause some bad looking baskets inside but its proven to be effective.
We cant count on them to shoot so poorly the rest of the game but I lovr that were not settling on 3s and going inside even when not getting the calls

 

Also, rebounding and a conscience effort to attack the paint are the difference.

 

Astros are bombing the Angels.

 

House does nothing and seems to have the jitters. Shumpert's defense with Gordon on the perimeter completely shook Durant and Klay

 

Yeah...maybe we could play Capela UNDER the basket instead of at the 3 pt. line on D.

 

Even if he doesn't have turnovers, when he slows down the game to a snail's pace, he better hit some shots, otherwise he is killing the flow of the offense and allowing the Warriors D to take a break.

 

Yes! Arguably the most important quarter of this season. Win this quarter and it's a victory and it will be difficult for GSW to win this game.

 

They allow much more physicality on him.

For Durant, Giannis, Curry, and other, they get the benefit of the doubt and get touch fouls. Harden gets mauled and gets no calls because apparently you can only get so many foul calls per season and Harden uses them all up by the time the playoffs start or something.

 

He's wasting so many possessions and clock playing his way. The Rockets would be up more if they maintained the pace they we're playing at when Harden was on the bench.

 

Now i'm worried Harden is going to run House out of Houston

 

This isn't about Harden's stats; this is about how the offense is flowing. All five players on the court are weapons today and this kind of offense can be explosive.

 

I refuse to watch this game simply bc I don't want to be pissed for the entire night afterwards. Watching you guys' posts makes it a little easier...
I had to look at Harden's numbers this post season and it's probably the worst post season of his career...efficiency wise for sure. He has more points, rebound, and assists...but turnovers and fouls are way up. His eFG and TS are especially depressing though...if he plays any worse he'll be coming down to westbrook like numbers.

 

Totally forgot about House, guess he’s in the dog house the rest of the playoffs

 

He will, once we turn this into a boring game.

 

Gotta watch out for that warriors 3rd quarter.
