I’ll stick to my prediction from last years WCF when we faced the warriors...whichever team wins two games in a row probably has the best chance to advance, we were so close just a CP3 hamstring away from the finals.
Curry hasn't had a great playoff run. No klay(if no hoax) means they should have more spacing for kd to shoot but I wonder if they play gimmick d on James without their best defender game one. Rox better not look washed up and hung over first game. No excuses. I'm hoping six or less but real hard to win the last game at their home. Fuggin refs
I feel like the Rockets are going to have to force and win a game 7 in order to advance past this round. The Warriors get up for this matchup.
https://fansided.com/2019/04/27/nyl...s-style-charts/amp/?__twitter_impression=true The Warriors come into the series as strong favorites, winning in 76 percent of the 10,000 simulations. The average length of the series was 5.7 games, with the Warriors given nearly a 13 percent chance to sweep the series. The Warriors struggled more than expected in round one against a very well prepared Clippers team, and the Rockets have certainly been watching and seeing what worked against the Warriors to prepare. The extra two days of preparation could prove extremely useful at the start of the series in terms of game plan for the Rockets. As good as the Rockets are and can be, the Warriors have a good chance to move on to the Western Conference Finals.
I wonder what the simulations would say about Game 7 last year, based upon likelihood of each team making the shots that were actually taken in the game (expected FG% for each shot, how open, who took it, from where, etc). Re-run that Game 7 10,000 times, and report back. Then re-run it with Paul and Ryan Anderson getting 0 minutes. (or maybe don't , and I should just let it go.)
The only way you can change you vote is to beg Clutch to delete your account (your vote will get erased), then login as a new user to vote. Depending upon your level of superstition, the honorable path of harakari might be your only way ... for safety, for the culture. Ask yourself, WWDD. (What Would @DreamShook Do)
Now that most CFers pick Rockets to win in 6, I am gonna change into Rockets in 4. In the only game that the Warriors had won in the 1:3 season split, DeMarcus Cousins was a force limiting Clint Capela at both ends of the court. Now that Cousins is out, The Warriors should be the worriers.
People are seriously saying the warriors in 6 !!!!! Clippers took them to the 6th game. This series is going to 7 games and I have no doubt in my mind that we can beat them. I don't give a **** about scoring. If we play the same defense like last year we can beat them, and if i am not mistaken we are the number 1 defensive team in the playoffs in the 1st round.
It is only gimmicky if it does not work. Sure one can do some variety to the Harden Rules, some aberrations.
