Probably because he’s a psycho? Why are you asking me? Bev literally confirmed himself that he requested a trade.
He's obviously pissed because he loved playing here and is offended that the organization had been openly looking for an upgrade at his position for quite a while. The front office didn't believe that Bev could be the secondary playmaker that we had so desperately needed post-Harden acquisition -- a player capable of carrying this team. That's not something in Pat's wheelhouse, imo. Beverley clearly felt differently, and wanted a larger role to showcase that. He's pissed because he loved us, and we didn't believe he was on the level of a player like Chris Paul. He is one of my favorite players to ever put on a Rockets uniform, but you've got to make that trade at that time, 100%.
After the trade, Beverley said he was the one who had asked to be traded. The Rockets did not contradict him. So either they accommodated his trade request, or they allowed him to claim that the decision was his. Either way, they treated him right.
I would have preferred not to trade harrell then slou But not bev he was basically a D only no O player
Beverly was the centerpiece of a trade for one of the 25 greatest players of all time. I can understand him being initially upset but pissed at the organization? That would be ridiculous if true.
Top 25 is up for debate but he’s firmly in there in my opinion. You’re an absolute moron if you don’t think he’s in the top 50 all time. Good luck finding 50 players better than Chris Paul. As far as maybe top 25 pgs? Lmao. There aren’t 5 pgs better than him.
Really? If you can name 9 better point guards I will be very impressed. There's a reason why he's called the point god.
Haha. So Bev has every right to be pissed because YOU assume nobody on the team informed him he was being traded? Wow. All your statements in this thread have been just total guessing on your part because you've got a feeling things weren't handled well by the Rockets. Nice. That must mean Dekker and Montrezl and Lou hate us, too. If this is how we deal with our players, nobody will ever want to come back after they're traded. Spoiler: Right?
You guys are delusional. Top 25 of all time is really laughable, considering at least 10 players that played this season are ahead of him. It's easy to pick up 15 to 20 through the history. What are you smoking guys.

He won all nba defensive 1st team then signed a modest to low extension for his payday year. Not sure what went down, but I'd be pissed to have a somewhat handshake deal turn into a great bargaining chip for trades.
