System vs adjustments are two different things @Zboy Rudy T ran a system where Dream got the ball then passed it out when he was double teamed In the playoffs, Phoenix quadruple covered Dream and Rudy T , made an adjustment for Vernon Maxwell to attack the basketball every time And that became a famous game called the "CLUTCH CITY" game Systems are what players run, coaches actually coach
? By my count the Houston Rockets have 2 NBA titles. I don’t count last year. I just don’t knee jerk and ignore circumstances that led to certain results.
I don't either. Mike D'Antoni didn't make in game adjustments last year and lost series and Chris Paul's injury is an excuse, because we were leading in game 7. Example, didn't call a time out when the Warriors went a massive run. Yesterday, Clint Capela is CLEARLY ILL, and didn't substitute in anyone for him. And yes I remember Clutch City, every day and how Rudy T made adjustments. Changed lineups , called timeouts etc.
And I think fans have extremely little insight to what is discussed in the huddle and in the locker room at half time. A lot of assuming going on here.
Yes leave the guy who the blood red eyes suffering from two respiratory infections in the whole game.
I assume he was cleared to play and said as much to the coach. I assume everyone saw Faried have about the worst 5 minutes anyone could have. And I assume that’s a big reason we didn’t see any more of him, I assume old ass Nene COULD have been an option, but I also assume there’s a good chance his old slow self wasn’t saving us either,
I'm stunned that more Rockets fans don't want our coaches making adjustments. Utah made adjustments. That's why they took one of the last two (and this series could easily be 2-2). You HAVE to make adjustments in the playoffs. Everyone knows what we are going to do already. You can't assume that sheer talent and hard work will get you through the end.
Well according to reports, the doctors told him to rest. which is what usually happens with you get two respiratory infections and your eyes are red as fire. But Mike D'Antoni won't make adjustments which is a simplified statement of his what he's done as a coach in the NBA. I understand he's our coach. But Jeff Van Gundy was a our coach, and people who thought realistically with facts saw that our offense was slow. Only after he gets fired that people did people consider normal criticism not 'oh no you are against the team blah'
There are smart Rocket fans and there are absurdly loyal for loyalty's sake For example, I got criticized for saying that Les Alexander didn't care about the Rockets and the city of Houston and he only cared about money and recognition He sold the team for 2 billion dollars and took the championship trophies with him to Florida. He didn't like living in Houston, he loved New York and Florida. But we have mindless and uninformed fans here thinking for some dumb reason, to be loyal to the owner. Are you loyal to the CEO of Whataburger, or are you loyal cause you like the product?
