Jazz are more aggressive, Rox are hoping for ticky tack foul calls that never get called in the playoffs. Refs consistently reward players who play with more energy thats why the Jazz are getting calls. Rox only have 6 more fouls called on them, thats to be expected given how both teams are playing.

 

Good thing we're only down 6, but PJ is in foul trouble, Clint looks a negative so far, and seems like we can do better with a small lineup...not looking good, if PJ can't stay out of foul trouble is going to be a long night i think.

 

The fouls could not be more one sided for Jazz. Utah 18 FT vs Houston 10.

 

Had Rivers not missed his 3 layups, Harden not missed his dunk, Capela not missed 2 putbacks, and Utah not been rewarded 8FTs on flops, then we would have a 14pt lead right now.

 

Utah's defense is containing the Rockets pretty well. I think MDA and the team need to find a way to capitalize on all the attention Harden is getting.

Re the refs, I think Utah is getting the more favorable whistle, but it's only to be expected in SLC. Just regular home cooking. Jae Crowder having his one outlier game. I expect him to fall off. Let's stay the course and get the W

crowder 5/5 with 14 in the first qtr. Rubio with 11 in the first qtr. 32 points for the jazz in the first qtr.

they got off to an incredible start and only have 6 points to show for it.

 

Makes you wonder if GSW will try the Milwaukee Defense on us.

 

I’m still a huge fan and a long-term believer, but House has cost himself some cash this series.

 

Utah only whistled for 8 fouls to our 14. The officiating was pretty sad, constantly falling for Utah flailing their arms.

18 FT’s to 10. That sums it up. And we are only down 6. I’ve said it earlier this series. Imagine if this series was reffed legit and fairly. NBA so desperate to extend this.

 

If capela could rebound, block some shots, catch the ball, and finish around the basket the rockets would easily Ben up even with all the ref bias

 

Remember when Capela owned Towns and Gobert last year? Where did that guy go?

We got this. Their offense has grinded to a halt these past few minutes and they're only getting by on FTs. Rubio and Crowder had slowed down and Mitchell is AWOL.
