Seriously this is where you take this? Your me vs them mentality will only hamper your ability to have a rational discussion with someone. This saddens me as a human, not as a Christian, Muslim, Buddist or anything else. This was a human achievement that is burning and we don't know if it will ever be the same. Its a national icon for France and while you watch it burn your mind goes to that. It's a sad window into who you are and what you are about.
I read history and math books. They put 8-inch thick bullet proof glass around the Eiffel Tower. It saddened me. Too much reality.
That's Patina. The Cathedral just got more interesting. It does remind me of the re-construction project for the tomb of Christ, and the 'unplanned incident" that allowed them unseal the tomb and peak around a bit. I don't put it past anyone to concoct a plan to do what they want to do.
If it doesn't utterly collapse. I initially though this would require some extensive renovation to rebuild the wooden parts, roof, etc. But reading it is quite possible for the walls to come down. RIP.
I see my mistake, I fed the troll. Look at the glee this non-contributing zero is getting from these reactions and attention. This attention starved narcissist is not worth the time; never again will I address or respond to them.
Spoiler b*stard. Stupid, ignorant, thoughtless, worthless b*stard. I wondered who others were replying to and realized it was someone I had on ignore, so I looked to see who it was and what was said. I think that your worthless self still being at Clutchfans is an abomination. You should be banned, @Cohete Rojo . I first visited Notre Dame in 1965. While I have never been Catholic and am not religious today, the cathedral was an absolutely stunning structure, emanating history and civilization from every part of it. I've been back more than once, and enjoyed showing it to my significant other in the early '80's. She had never been to Paris, and what is more iconic, more representative of the city than Notre Dame? Some would say the Eiffel Tower, but it's always been Notre Dame to me. I don't doubt that it will be rebuilt, but it will never be what it once was. This is a dark day.
He should be doing it elsewhere, not at ClutchFans. He also posted a political take in Hangout, where it is not allowed.
Damn I got clutch to ban me from D&D so I didn't have to see this bickering on the forum.... oh well! Anyhow...I'm really curious what kind of effort and creativity it's going to take to rebuild Notre Dame.
He is very truly not worth yall's time, not one instant of it. Ignoring him, as per most of his life, is what hurts most.
