I'm not sure if anyone checked out B the beginning on Netflix but it's pretty good. Has a Tokyo ghoul feel. Netflix has some really good ones on there right now. The original series ones that is.
Visuals are good, but the old original series takes more time on the story. This one is non stop gore and ridiculousness without buildup on why everyone is overpowered. They also jumped midway without any setup to get right into the action, so I’m not sure how anyone new can care about what’s going on behind the slick action scenes. It’s pretty much gore p*rn without any investment in the characters.
Considering he lost his whole family and is the last lone Belmont because of vampires, I think its suitable.
I started watching this and it's pretty interesting like overlord. The only downside is that this genre is horrible for having a complete series so you can't expect anything outside of that current season. It's like the JJ Abrams of built up expectations and cool mysteries followed by long years of delays, then finally nothing... Mob Psycho s2 is out.
This season has a pretty solid line up. -That time I got reincarnated as a slime -Mob psycho 100 -The rising of the shield hero -Fairy Tail Been watching anything that relates to isekai or transported to another world shows. Also shoutout to 3d Kanojo for the romance genre.
Been awhile since we talked about the new series. I am really enjoying Rising of the Shield Hero this season.
For sure shield hero is that top spot with mob psycho a close second. Very well done shows. For upcoming series: ACE OF THE DIAMOND is BACK after 3 years and I'm so hyped about it, possibly my second favorite sports anime after haikyuu. Then there's Attack on titan and One punch man lol.
I enjoyed it. People are b****ing about the animation, but it looked fine to me. A step down from the legendary level of season one, but not bad.
i've read the manga which goes up through what would be season 3 of the anime i think and i like garou a lot.
Not sure if it was discussed already (not going through the backpages), but anyone else watch Hi Score Girl? The animation and character designs are a bit weird, but I really enjoyed it. I think anyone who was an arcade rat during the Street Fighter years will dig it. I also really liked Aggretsuko (Protein!). Some thoughts on other anime I watched recently. Baki: Not enough character development/story, but I'll probably keep watching it anyway. This is my first exposure to Baki, so if there's another series that I was supposed to watch prior to this, then it may make some sense. Really hard to tell what's a debilitating attack, vs. something that the characters can just shrug off. Megalo Box: Thought it was just ok. Hajime no Ippo is still my boxing anime of choice.
Its watch the old school Baki instead. Animation is dated but there's some memorable over the top **** I still remember
