Way off topic but Giles is on the mound against the Red Sox’s ... potential implosion in the making... single, walk and no one out... ohhh one out... Giles might get out of it... and two outs... ... 3-2... and strike out!!! Red Sox are 3-9 to start season. Unreal! Sorry back to topic at hand... Watching baseball getting excited about Yankees/Astros.
precedent is not on their (the plaintiffs) side so i would disagree w you that's it's lame by the astros. tshirt tosses, foul balls, broken bats, are all common occurrences at games and it's up to the spectators to make sure they're paying attention and prepared.
Good question... the answer at the moment is the Red Sox’s are imploding. 3-9? Didn’t see that coming. Giles looks like the same guy, always on the edge of your seat... glad he is gone.
Nice to see the Red Sox off to a slow start. I know it doesn't feel like it all the way in April but every game matters for those jockeying for play-off positions.
Red Sox imploding this year could open the door to a team that might be our biggest nemesis...Tampa Bay
Crazy thing is that its not bad hit sequencing like the Astros were struggling with. The Red Sox have serious questions with Chris Sale.
Tropicana Field always gives us struggles. Glad we got that place out of the way with. Anyway, if we don't win, I'd rather see a small/medium market teams win than one the big market teams, who sometimes like to act like they're the only teams, and have literally the worst fans. Oh, and f*** the Patriots, and f*** the Celtics, too, while we're at it. Glad we kept Alex Bregman instead of trade for him!
https://www.click2houston.com/news/fan-sues-astros-claims-orbits-t-shirt-cannon-shattered-her-finger Orbit fired the cannon with a shirt in it at close range to her, coming straight for her face. Either had to catch it or move out of the way and she tried to catch it. In doing so, the force that was generated from cannon, that shirt hit her finger and fractured it and shattered it. Spoiler She had a second surgery in October, but the lawsuit said her finger remains in a locked position and she has little range of motion. Her attorney said she'll never be able to use her finger again. "It was 100 percent preventable. I do not think it was an accident," Gibson said. The lawsuit claims the Astros were negligent for failing to use reasonable care when firing the T-shirt cannon; failing to provide warning to fans; failing to properly train employees about the T-shirt cannon; failing to supervise staff using the T-shirt cannon; and failing to follow T-shirt cannon safe use practices.
Sale sounds absolutely lost... "I don't know if I've ever pitched like this in my life.... I've got to keep fighting. No giving up.... Trying to find something.... This wasn't us not playing good today. This was me sucking." -Chris Sale after falling to 0-3 on the season.
