Sorry if this was mentioned before but, did we have an open roster spot, or is somebody getting waived?
open spot. hence, why 'holic started his "last roster spot speculation" thread. he was hoping for Anthony Bennett
Morey must have figured out that Shump looks like he doesn’t fit and Austin is shaky at the FT line. Shump: 29% (3P%) in last 11 games. Rivers: 46% (FT%) in last 17 games.
My sources show $137 thousand. https://en.hispanosnba.com/salaries/houston-rockets Frazier tore it up in the 2 playoff games: 29 points/gm...54% (3P%)....14 (3PA’s/gm)....67% (FT%) https://www.basketball-reference.com/gleague/players/f/frazimi01d.html
Just remembered something. I saw the Fight of the Century in Venice, Italy, @Ottomaton. It started around 4:30 am there. I had arrived by train and found a pensione down an alley with a light on, knocked and knocked on the door and had just about given up (I was with a chick. badly wanted a room, and it was cold in early March, 1971) when it opened. We were let in and were astonished to find a living room packed with people in front of a TV, drinking vino and munching on stuff. No one spoke English, but they communicated that they'd give us a room when the fight was over. I couldn't believe our luck! It was a great fight, although we were disappointed that Ali lost. Everyone there was rooting for him. The girl and I were more than half drunk with the sun starting to come up when we finally got to bed. It was a great start for the few days we spent in Venice, which was largely deserted. Sorry for the derail, but it's your fault! Funny how memories pop into your head at the oddest times.
Wait what!?!? When did they happen? I thought it was a deal for just the rest of the season! This is great news.
Funny some people thought we’d sign Bennet, a PF. I knew Morey would sign another guard. At least this guy looks serviceable, though.
