The media and NBA need a star to market in the East. Giannis will win b/c it makes the league more money and keeps the media employed. They ran this article a couple days ago, asking their staff how important narrative was to winning. They all said narrative was less important than stats. But then when they explained why Giannis should be MVP they all focused on narrative instead of stats. http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/26415151/nba-mvp-debate-how-decide-giannis-harden Bontemps is a tool. In the same article he says that Giannis was his preseason pick for MVP. Just shows he doesn't care about how players actually play the games.
"Warriors prove to be too much for the MVP-led Bucks" What a disgrace I hope we can pull off the unthinkable by "cheating the game" and winning the NBA Finals. What a rigged popularity contest the 'NBA machine' is.
If LeBron, Steph, or Durant had put up these numbers and carried a team they would be the unanimous MVP.
Harden doesn't have a shot now that the Bucks clinched best record with Giannis having absurd stats. Voters have all the ammo they need. It's a wrap.
I've been saying it for years. When ESPN/TNT is in town for a game and requesting players for access, send guys like Gary Clark and Isiah Hartenstein. Deny access to the big names because frankly they don't deserve the access. They will hate you but they already do so big facking deal. Gotta fight fire with fire.
