Portland, besides Denver, they still have to go and play Memphis and Kings. those aren't layups. They don't seem to know they are tanking.. there is still hope.
Vala is out for the rest of the season though, and that game is in Portland i think...they'll probably go full tank now, i'm scared. Kings should actually play to win cause they don't even have their pick so...
I am saying that I think its likely and not impossible, to win the next 4. If we do We will be more than fine. That clipper game is one that spells trouble
You're quite the optimist. Portland's remaining schedule is: MEM @Den DEN @LAL SAC They're not gonna lose at home to Memphis or Sactown. The Lakers just shut down LeBron and aren't exactly trying to win games right now. So that leaves Denver. Honestly, I think we basically have to forget about the 2nd seed and just hope the Nuggets kick the crap out of the Blazers twice. That would leave the Rockets a cushion of one more loss(either at LA or OKC). Plus to be honest, I'd rather wind up 3rd and face the Clippers or Jazz than finish 2nd and be "rewarded" with the Thunder or Spurs.
2nd seed is no big loss IMO. the 3rd seed is fine with me. I can see Denver beating Portland twice and Portland slipping up against the Lakers or Sacto. It can happen. Hope costs me nothing. If it doesn't happen, whatever.
I'm convinced that Morey hates pure shooters. He's only gotten Ryan Anderson in the past few years and of course he was deemed obsolete in the switching defense era.
That's how I feel. I honestly don't want 2nd if the lower seeds remain as they are. But aside from Portland, the Rockets have to make sure Utah doesn't overtake them. The Jazz will likely sweep their remaining games aside from the last one at the Clippers.
I just wonder where he would have played on the roster. Rockets like big-ish guards that can switch. Rockets would rather tell a big-ish guard that can't shoot to shoot than tell a small guard that can shoot to defend a SF or PF. Could Curry defend well enough to play in the Rockets system of switching? I know GG isn't a good/smart defender but he is big enough to get away with it sometimes.
Apparently that '15-16 GSW had 43 DDigit wins and won tons of close games. Spoiler Rockets: 24 (out of 49) Double Digit wins with 5 games remaining. Ain't bad. GSW got 31. Toronto 31. Denver 23. With GSW losing more games than expected, and Toronto winning tons of close games and 9 pt margin games.
The Wolves are just terrible. Every time I watch them I am amazed how bad they actualy are. I do not understand why they are this bad. They do have talent.
