I'm a tad concerned about Armoni. He's really off so far this tournament. You almost forget he's on the floor
Thank Goodness Coogs didn't get injured on that easy rebound after colliding. Buckeyes got a break too.
Nice win. Nervous moments at times with the way Buckeyes were hitting 3's way above their ability in the first half. And in the 2nd half the refs kept them in the game with some really bad calls against our bigs. We shut down their inside game and if the game was called properly #34 for Ohio State would have ended up with about 15 fouls. Now we need to prep for and beat Kentucky. We can do it and I believe we will. Now Roc Paint you can go eat you some KFC.
The Midwest Regional semifinal bracket will have 4 teams that have the top 5 picks in the 1984 NBA Draft. Houston - Olajuwon #1 Kentucky - Bowie #2 North Carolina - Jordan #3 and Perkins #4 Auburn - Barkley #5
Kentucky with several impressive wins, good FG%, young and athletic. They look deep. But they have also lost to LSU who we beat. So this to me is still a toss up. Luckily for us they will play inside out. But big difference here is that it will be much tougher for us to drive the lane. So we will need to shoot a high percentage from mid to deep, and these 5 minute droughts must be eliminated.
