I love what Nate has done. There are many good candidates. But my #2 coach is Michael Malone in Denver. Nate is probably 3rd for me. Then maybe Doc Rivers.
1st player in NBA history to drop at least 30 on every other team in the NBA he’s slowing down now tho...he needs 2 or 3 monster games to remind voters what the deal is
I have a feeling Giannis will win mainly because of their record. It's gonna be great when we beat them in the finals and James wins Final's MVP.
he could put up a 100 point quadruple double, and all we'd hear about is how he was cheating off his man to get those steals
Rockets at Bucks next week on TNT national TV is going to be VERY important. (Bucks have 1 more national TV game AT 76ers). And the Bucks will easily get the #1 seed and likely will rest players for the final few games of the season. FYI, for the Bucks Mirotic and Brogdon will both be out.
if anyone still thinks this is a discussion, then they’re kidding themselves congrats Harden on winning B2B MVPs...what a tremendous player
Yeah after the past few games, James is definitely in the lead. It would be a travesty if he doesn't win.
if he balls out against Milwaukee on Tuesday and the Rockets win then even Bucks fans and Harden haters would have to admit that Giannis is done
If Harden manages to surpass Jordan's best PPG season (37.1) to be the highest scorer in the modern era, and he DOESN'T win MVP... the voters are a disgrace to basketball and should never be allowed to vote on the award again. Clean slate, figure out a different way to do the award.
Could Giannis do what Harden just did tonight? HELL NO! not only is Harden having a legendary season that will still be talked about a decade from now, his team is also WINNING...we’re going B2B with this award, the MVP trophy belongs in Houston
if/when Harden wins a ring, is he in the GOAT discussion? I mean come on. This guy is insane. I think he's quite clearly better than someone like Kobe Bryant, atleast offensively. Kobe sweats his balls off and plays like his life depends on it for 60. Harden just does it with ease. If his shots are falling, he's dropping 50. "but muh defense" - Harden is the best post defender in the league. He's defended more post-ups than anyone. Give Harden prime Shaq or Pau/company and he wins rings no problem. Change my mind.
I think he should. But I don't care. Hakeem was robbed by David Robinson and HOU took home the championship. I don't care about the MVP anymore. Bring home the trophy, Beard... It is time
no, he would need to do more to be in the GOAT discussion your only argument is him versus kobe what about hakeem, jordan, lebron, magic, wilt, kareem, etc.
None of them has beaten the KD Warriors, arguably the greatest team ever. Harden has a chance to do that this year.
imagine putting that tweet up on the same night Harden dropped 61 lmao...all Bucks Twitter did is remind everyone how big the gap is between what Harden is doing and what Giannis is doing Harden dropped 61 on the Spurs...Giannis dropped 27 on the Heat 27, 8, and 7 is putting in work for Giannis...27, 8, and 7 isn’t even worth talking about when it comes to Harden...that’s ho-hum...that’s ordinary for a legendary player like Harden Harden is a damn video game
