Another bad loss on the list, but still chance for big things.

If Faried was here tonight we would have won. The majority of the time he helps in the paint and gets the key rebounds. I honestly believe he's our best rebounder despite his size.

The Rockets arrogantly thought they could win this one with guys resting. You'd think the near loss to Phoenix(at home no less) would've been a wakeup call, but maybe this actual loss will be.

I said earlier in the thread that absolutely no one can rest over the next 4 games(SAS, @NOP, @mil, DEN). Those are games even a full strength Rockets team could lose. After that stretch, maybe sit one or two guys out when the Kings come to town. But unless it's a crappy team at Toyota Center, no one should sit. The 3rd seed is too important.

nurkic, jokic, cousins, LMA, harrell -- almost every team is going to overpower him in the paint

I wish we would stop resting players. If Gordon and Faried play, this is a W. Sigh.

Small knocks, bruises, strains, fatigue, those things that won't necessarily show up on an injury report.

Or not being on fun level.

jonas is one of the few centers who can get the best of Clint... there aren't that many anymore but this guy one.... has been since Toronto. I can't explain it but he defends clint well... inexplicably I might add... and he just abuses Clint in the post and on the boards..... i haven't pinpointed the reason why yet but he just does

Guys, whatever we do, we're consistently getting out-rebounded. Not getting to the WCF if you're consistently being outrebounded. Can't rely on awesome shooting all the time.

Still can't believe the refs chose to call that kind of foul to decide a tied game.

I think guys like Steven Adams can too.

    Bogut and DCousins might.

If players aren't legitimately injured right now than I agree the Rox don't have the luxury of resting guys at this point. They haven't wrapped up anything. Surprising for a coach like MDA to be resting guys before they wrap up at least the 3rd spot.

That’s exactly where I was coming from. Ego is not an old man and I really don’t think giving guys one game off really does much for their body. Maybe a CP3 or Nene but even then

You have to be a man in a situation like that. He really should have grabbed that rebound. The team did all the work defending, he needed to close it out. It's a shame to lose that one.

Everybody on clutchfans has been complaining that they want the players rested even if that means sacrificing seeding.
