A fact that has escaped y'all about the grizzlies: they have beaten at home: the blazer, jazz and magic and are on a 4 game winning streak at home. It wasn't going to be an easy game.

great, so then you agree there is already precedent here further casting the spotlight on tonight's either crooked or embarrassingly incompetent ref crew

on a brighter note, this game could hurt their chance of landing Zion.

6:45 minutes left in the 4th..... James Harden enters and scores 18 points including the last 3 free throws to send it to OT coming back from 12 down.

48 seconds left in overtime.... James Harden scores 8 points tying the game.

He finished with 57 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks

Screw the Rockets for not winning this game and screw the referee for that BS call. Also, Harden takes 33 shots and gets 12 free throws?? Yeah ok.

We went a long stretch in the first half where House (6'7") was the tallest person on the court for us.

That is a whole new level of stupidity.

No need to convince you. They take it seriously but they dun have the stamina or the capacity to dominate all 4 quarters.

If they took this bottom-of-the-sewer team with a bunch of past-their-fame scrubs seriously, the Grizzlies wouldn't have had a 38-point first quarter. This game would've been over long ago.

Yup. They don’t show up half the time we play inferior teams. Deserved loss for their first half performance.

Harden did all he could. It was a heroic performance that unfortunately didn’t end with a victory. Sucks, but the Rockets are still holding on to the 3rd seed.

I’m not going to act too surprised though, because this game merely reiterated a lot of the problems this year’s team has in the regular season: rebounding, lack of focus, and inconsistent role-players. Faried should help in terms of the rebounding, though, especially if he’s playing with Capela. And missing the 3rd leading scorer on the team probably made a difference too.

One last thing, while House and Capela both didn’t play great, I’m confident in them doing better in the coming games. This one hurts, though. ****.

I’m only upset they lost because of how this impacts Harden’s MVP campaign.

And he's still going to get screwed out of the MVP by Giannis, for reasons that totally escape me.

    It's a damned shame.

I just think that it's petty to talk about ft disparity when harden routinely gets an inordinate amount of calls.

The fact is that the rockets play small ball and now that the grizzlies have Jonas, it's going to be a problem. You either foul him or put in nene. When the grizzlies had marc is was no problem because marc wasn't an aggressive offensive player.

Maybe but if it weren't for them Grizz, another team would have had that 38 quarter. West is thicc.

Jonas is just a better fit right now than Marc.

Without Harden, Capela is mediocre. Capela is like a rich man's Javale Mcgee. Sort of. Maybe like middle class.
