Totally not circular logic that would lead to 100% of the budget being spent on the military at all.

I recommend you watch an oldie but goodie Pentagon Wars, which is based on the memoir of the Colonel who was brought in by Congress to clean up the bloated M2 Bradley program:

How's that Zumwalt class destroyer that the navy "needed" working out for you?

Maybe check out the M247 Sgt York debacle while you are at it. There is a delightful story about its propensity to lock its AA guns onto portajohns in live fire drills while the enemy planes flew by after they were several billion dollars into the program. Guess they just didnt spend enough on it. Ever hear of the sunk cost falacy?

They shouldn't have to worry about living in old housing either but some a**clown declared national disaster which can take funding away from the military .

But they are asking for more money and we are not giving it to them. I trust that they would not ask for it if they did not need it. You are assuming they are corrupt and just want more.

To be fair, the siphoning of funding from DOD will not affect the money to improve the deplorable housing situation at Ft. Hood and others.

The other day I attempted to take down Ben Shapiro by digging up offensive Tweets. Hours upon hours I scrolled, looking through libtard destruction through the years in hopes of finding something to destroy the smug b*stard. Finally, I found something. Half chubbed, I chortled, "finally! A weapon to defeat Daddy Shapiro! I'll go call the DNC!"

Suddenly I hear a rumbling sound in the distance. As it starts growing louder I knew I was in for a fight. Suddenly, my door flies open so fast it disappears, presumably with all the other libtards who have been destroyed. He's here. Stepping through the door, Chad energy radiating from him, is Ben Shapiro. "So, you dare challenge me libtard?" Ben asked with a smirk. I stayed silent, simply allowing my chub to grow to 75%. "Well you're in for a fight." He said as he conjured up a 5 foot long gavel out of thin air.

I wasted no time, rushing straight for him, but Shapiro was prepared and blocked me. "You're a quick one aren't you?" He chuckled, before bashing me with his gavel. As 82 genders were knocked out of me, I fell to the floor and saw him standing above, laughing. "And here I thought you'd put up a good fight. Shameful."

I wasn't out yet; I still had tricks up my sleeve. I ran to my computer and searched for Tumblr. My ace in the hole. As I began reading off blogs shaming straight white men, I could see him weakening. Lucky for me my cuck powers allowed me to be unaffected. Knowing he was weak, I searched for DeviantArt. He knew my plan. As I searched up gay furry p*rn he closed his eyes and approached me before shouting facts and logic into my ears.

I fell out of my chair and recoiled. Something had taken over me. The facts and logic were too much. He had defeated me. Looking over me with his gavel, he destroyed the computer and said, "heh, another libtard destroyed." He then swung his gavel down, popping my testicles like a balloon filled with spaghetti and meatballs before shooting out through the ceiling. As I reached peak cuck-atude, I vowed my revenge towards Ben. Although he was gone, I still heard his voice in my head, saying "okay this is epic."

I am conservative when it comes to military spending. It needs to be raised. I do not know why the conservatives on this forum disagree. Tomorrow, i will create a thread saying trump needs more support and they will disagree.

I just realized it’s pretty silly to say I am an adjective such as liberal or conservative. I know they can be used as nouns, but let me rephrase and say we need to conserve military spending.

Smart move. Next president declares national emergency and uses the military funds to fund National health care.

    I like it.

Budget can be lower if we stop hiring outside companies and internalize our military research and development.

I'm not the best at the twitters, but I did look at Senator Warren's and I saw a lot of discussion about policy changes to help the working class, but only one in the last couple of days about the military -- that we needed to end these expensive wars. So I'm sorry if I just need more help. If you can point me at particular tweets that'd help. Though, in general, I'm sure President Warren will not be too keen on any increase in military spending, never mind a 4-fold increase. I'd also be surprised if she wanted anything more than incremental decreases though.

Aside from all that though, I really disagree with you on what we're paying for with the military. Yes, it defends the country, which we need. We could probably do that for a fraction of what we spend. The other thing (and probably much more expensive thing) the military does is project US power literally around the world. We make sure we have a say in every region, that our corporations have access in almost every market, and that most countries have governments and practices we deem acceptable. We have an opinion on what Venezuela does, what North Korea does, what Syria does, what Libya does, what Great Britain does, what Ukraine does, what DRC does, what Philippines does, what China does -- everybody, everywhere. Sure, that's expensive and probably profitable too. And, I think there is an attractive line of reasoning that if we don't exert our hegemony then someone like China will, and then the US will be destroyed, enslaved, or otherwise at their mercy. But, I don't think that's necessary for the country's defense. I think our integrity and sovereignty here in North America can be reasonably assured with more normal spending if we can come to terms with the idea that we can't tell other nations how to be, we can't set the world order, and that we have to negotiate with other parties to get the things we want. And maybe we're not okay with that; maybe we decide American hegemony is a must-have. Fine, but that's not defense spending. That's the conquest budget.
