If Tucker can play the 4, then so can House. Neither solution is better than starting Faried and having Gary Clark back him up though
If he plays like this into the playoffs don't be surprised if he gets 4 years 20 mill Which I believe is more than our MLE.
I hate to jump in on anything I know so little about, but I think there is no way the Rockets are re-signing House without paying the luxury tax. I would like to believe these things will take care of themselves if the team brings the third NBA championship to Houston and House is a big contributor.
We are a 3 point shooting team and he fits perfect. Lets hope he can bring these insane percentages in the playoffs. If love to see him just fire away with the 3's. Since March 15th House is 12 of 19 from behind the arc. .631 is ridiculous!
assuming we do well in the playoffs and house does well, i think morey will have to at least offer him the full midlevel exception. having said that, i don't think he's going to offer more than that. I think he still has his eyes on butler and if he's going to pay more, try to get someone like oubre. House is more of a good 7th or 8th man, bench material. Although he's good from the 3, transition, and driving to the bucket, he's not a defensive stopper. If we're going to pay big bucks for a starter, it'd be better to get one of those, even if it means that we have to wait for one.
House is our 6th best player - He is playing his way up that ladder tho and it’s great to see him succeed so far since being back He is definitely the type of role player we need for a title run and I honestly wouldn’t mind starting him at the 3 - especially depending on playoff matchups
Gotta admit, hes doing his job well. He doesnt force anything and just waits for the offense to come to him. And he's fluid enough to drive to the basket when ran off the 3pt line.
He deserves to get paid for the way he's played and most importantly his impact and ability to rise during clutch time, but his play/impact in the playoffs will truly determine his pay and contract.

I repeat shump river Faried wont be back like every other year we get these guys.....unless u green n u take a big discount just because u love the city. U can never sign them guys.
If he shows out when the brightest of lights come on...then I wouldnt hesitate to give him the full MLE. Here is to hoping Farid and Rivers take their non bird right deals.
The only reason Faried has to start is because he is not effective at all as a bench. Tucker and House should be starters. Faried and Rivers look like Garbage when they are playing less than 16 minutes/game.
Where has this talent been the last few years? That's what I'm really curious about. The guy is playing well, and helping the team. Yes, the system suits him well. Still, he's what, three years removed from college? I'm just really interested to know what changed and how he went from undrafted and cut multiple times, to this.
