[Official] Texans Offseason

I'd be happy if we signed Donald Penn and Josh Sitton in free agency. I don't think Kelemente, despite his versatility!, has proven to be someone you could rely on.

Penn and Sitton are guys with really good pedigree, good leadership, history of playing very well that struggled last year. If they are both healthy and would take one year deals I'd love to bring them in and see what happens.

 

There will still be guys like Deiter, Benschawel, Howard, Edwards and other worthy linemen on the board. We don't necessarily need the best. Just people who are better than what we have.

There's a drop off when you get to those guys. I'm not even sure those guys are better than what we have. I wouldn't mind taking them in the 3rd round or later and see how they work out.

 

I'll take Little in the 2nd if they find a #1 CB in the 1st.

 

I want Greedy in the first, trade the 2 second rounders to move up and get Risner as well. I'd be happy after that.

 

Gaine is more likely to trade back and I hope he does

When is the last time they've drafted a troubled player?

When is the last time they've signed a FA with a history? Hunt/Gordon etc... type guys?
