One of the most impressive things owners of sports teams have accomplished is to convince us, the fans, to care about their money. Yet when players want more money, they're the bad guys. Who cares if {fill in the blank} player got {fill in the blank} millions. The owners can afford it and they can fit it under the salary cap. That $8 million the McNairs saved in swapping safeties is not coming back to your pocket. And it might not even mean another player is joining the team. It's just money they saved and we the fans are supposed to praise them for it. If I get a raise at work, I'm not going to my CEO telling him I'm over-paid. And y'all better not be either.
I would take Solder today now that the NYG's traded for Solder and are getting their C back. I bet you he will be middle of the pack atleast.
