Wait, doesn't OKC have the tiebreaker? They're 2-1 against us this season right?

Apparently that doesn't matter in the case of a tie because the Rockets are projected to be their division winner and OKC is not.

In a 3 way tie, the division leader gets the top slot...

I absolutely LOVE the way James Harden closed this game. Didn't go for the low percentage highlight step-back three. In fact, he didn't take a single one near the end of the game.

In 6 consecutive possessions, I recalled 1 mid-range shot and 5 drives to the basket. One of the drives led to a drawn shooting foul and the other four drives were made floaters (one was an and-one).

He added yet ANOTHER weapon to his arsenal with this floater. Teams were trying to funnel him to the basket and he just completely countered the sh*t out of it.

What I hope the team realizes is that in the close games late, even one scored point significantly increases win probability. A 2-point field goal is even better. There's no need to go for low probability wild step-back threes in closing time when you can attempt much higher % shots closer to the basket like midrange and floaters. I really hope this clicked with James, Morey, and the coaches.

    ANOTHER boring win!

    Wt F on the 3 Q????

Chris Paul's shot is on a milk carton. I hope someone having cereal will help find it.

I'm starting to think the Rockets don't plan to unleash Chiozza until we're playing the Warriors in the playoffs. Don't want to let them get an idea of how to game plan for our secret weapon. Smart.

to be fair he missed quite a bit of floaters to start the game. Maybe he just found his mark eventually which is good

Very impressive win. The most impressive part - holding Tor to 95 points.
