Harden Scoring averages depending on days rest: 0 Days Rest: 39.4 1 Days Rest: 37.5 2 Days Rest: 33.3 3+ Days Rest: 28.8 All stats acquired from ESPN http://www.espn.com/nba/player/splits/_/id/3992/james-harden
I’ve always noticed this.... he’s never really the same player with extended time off..... I think cause his is so dependent on rhythm and craft.... he always plays better when the games are stacked.....
need playing to stay in rhythm those rest days last season before the playoff got us out of sync in the first round
What’s also crazy is we should have enough data to understand that something is happening to him physically at around game 4-6 of the second rd also..... He just doesn’t seem to be himself during that time....
I don’t usually like the strip club schtick but that’s pretty funny..... please don’t let twitter get ahold of that
To put some actual context, it probably has to do with the other players not coming through on b2b and Harden has to have a bigger load and score more to get a win But yes also skrip clubs
Said this so many times. Harden is a different breed. He is a grinder. Rhythm > Rest I know that sounds unconventional. But Harden is unconventional.
I noticed this too a while back. I joked with a friend that the reason he is so bad in the playoff, there is too much rest between games.

Are there anymore B2b this year? I knew Harden averaged 40 on back to back but I forgot to put the prop bet on him... (It was 36 BTW)
