I'm not an expert on geopolitics by any means; unlike so many posters on Clutchfans. But India should put pressure on its allies and the UN to impose sanctions on Pakistan. Cut all international aid till it actually stops supporting terrorists. This is the same country that was letting Osama hide out in a complex near a military base.

    Not at all
We would probably nuke the country
    barring that
we would definitely carpet bomb the country for several years with over at least 40~60000 deaths on their side
    at least

Having nuclear power is the exact reason why they won't go to war over Kashmir. As long as it doesn't spread to cities this should be resolved quickly.

You sound ****ing stupid. Who the **** is being a apologist? Theres ZERO evidence that the terror group is still operating and has base camps in Pakistan. Stop comparing Pakistan of 10 years ago to what Pakistan is today. Imran Khan told the Indian Government to give him the gps cordinates and he would eliminate the group himself.

Where the **** is this suppose group located anyways? According to India's intel they destroyed a training complex and eliminated 350 terrorist WHEN IN REALITY THEY BOMBED A OPEN PIECE OF LAND WITH NOT ONE CASUALTY. How the **** can you trust their intel when they are bluntly lying about the destruction they caused to this suppose terrorist group. I wouldnt be surprised if the whole fkin thing is made up

Funny how people say, "just eliminate all terrorist" like the US has been able to accomplish this feat in Afghanistan? Theyve been at war for 18 years and have achieved what? Now they're making a peace treaty with the Taliban and will give them political representation along with lots of other tradeoffs.

The same tactic that America is deploying in Afghanistan is something that Pakistan has been doing under the new administration now. Obviously Pakistan sponsored alot of bullshit in the past but I dont think this is happenening and certainly wasnt behind the attack in pawar attack.

The thing you all dont understand is you dont eliminate terrorism by dropping bombs and only by military force. Thats a short term bandage on a bigger issue. The solution is by taking them out of poverty and having a dialogue with them and understanding why they feel the way they feel. Give them work opportunities, a voice, education, mobile data, etc.

How many people did we kill for 9/11? Pearl Harbor?

We always visit like 10 times the damage on those that 'offend'/"damage" the US

For some reason no body understands what happened here. The terrorist that committed these atrocities GREW UP anad LIVED IN INDIAN CONTROLED KASMIR. Theres been ABSOLUTELY ZERO evidence of Pakistan actually sponsoring this. India claims to have acted upon the same intel they received about Pakistan sponsoring the group in which they commited the air strikes. THE AIR STRIKES CAME OUT COMPLETELY EMPTY.

Ask yourself who has more to gain here? Pakistan is running on empty fuel at the moment and has less then 6 months of operating revenue to run the country. Why the **** would they go into war with zero money in the bank? And why would they sponsor an attack which undercut their biggest international visit by MBS which they planned for MONTHS. Makes absolutely no sense.

Alot of you guys have predetermined notions based off previous administrations but Pakistan is a different country nowadays. Yes the ISI and Military play a major role in the government but Imran Khan has the full support of the citizens of Pakistan which gives him massive leverage. Give it time.
We all know Pakistan has major issues and has had a history of sponsoring terrorism but its a different Leader and a different mentality in office now.

If people could post actual news articles about this situation in addition to/instead of long-winded personal opinions...that'd be greeeeeat.

Theres bbc reporters that saw the impact site. Whats false? There were no terrorist camps that were hit. Please provide one single photo that shows any camp being hit? You know theres such things called drones right? The indian army didnt take any satellite photos of these camps before they were hit? Theres not ONE SINGLE PHOTO out there that backs up the claims of the Indian Army. Usually during reconnaissance mission theres usually SOME PHOTO EVIDENCE that gets logged before an air strike right? The usa even provided photos of the WMD in Iraq before they deployed military action right?

India released this video right away in 2016 after it attacked some targets in the Pakistani Kashmir area. Wheres the video now of this attack? Where is the terrorist camp that was destroyed? They had a much larger scale operation this time around yet they didnt take any video?

Ive always said that the beginning of WW3 will be Pakistan/India. i dont think most Americans or Westerners fully understand just how much hatred there is between the two nations. Its mostly due to the fact that the wombs are still fresh as the two divided just 60 years ago.

You need to find your muzzle and calm down

Too much to lose for both sides with escalation, the issue isn't PAkistan harboring terrorists, it's them being too incompetent to do anything about it
So both sides made their chess moves for pride's sake, and soon the situation will diffuse
Thankfully no one with your temperament is making decisions

I am aware... that's why I want no part of it. I've had several Pakistani and Indian families live on my street over the years. I've been friendly with all of them, and I've heard both sides.

My temperament? Lol ive been stressing restraint this entire time. Funny how you state that Pakistan isnt incompetent in fighting terror but if you read the official numbers that are coming from Pakistan and not fake news then you'll realize the exact opposite is true. Pakistan's military announced the nationwide Radd-ul-Fasaad or "Elimination of Strife" operation to prevent cross-border terrorist attacks and limit militants' access to explosives and weapons which has actually seen a lot of success.

    https://economictimes.indiatimes.co...istan-in-2018-report/articleshow/67417709.cms

Pakistan has had back to back successful years of ATLEAST combating terrorism to some degree. They've also for the first time in their history are giving visa free entry to over 30 countries, have created a extensive highway system with china in northern Pakistan to help boost tourism, I can go on and on. There going to jeopardize all of this to go to war when they dont even have any money to fight a war?

Wake-up and stop reading your own propaganda.

    ISI created Jaish-e-Mohammed
Jaish-e-Mohammed has camps in Pakistan controlled Kashmir
    Jaish-e-Mohammed is HQ is Lahore.

You can keep telling silly lies on here that no one will believe because we aren't reading your propaganda or you can learn the truth about your failed state of a country and maybe do something to fix things.
