Rockets currently a 5th seed sitting at 33-24. 25 games remaining, I'm thinking we go 17-8 with Clint back, and go to 50-32 to end the season. We get to the 4th seed and a play a blazer team round 1 to play the warriors. Im seeing a 4-2 second round out at the moment. Is Cp3 just being cautious atm or this what we will be living with for playoffs? What do you guys think?
Rockets get the 3rd seed avoid the Warriors till the WCF. They shock the world and beat the warriors in 6
17-8 with a fully healthy squad would be a pretty big disappointment, I'm hoping for better than that
Expectations. Meet them or beat em by a dollar, and everything is golden. Miss it by a dollar then put a gun in your mouth and make sure I'm standing behind you.
Mike gets Shump’s defense in the starting lineup where it belongs. Get back to switching everything, with Eric Gordon as the designated 6th man. Bring home Danuel House.
The schedule is not easy. I say 15-10 barring any injuries. We can beat anyone if healthy in the playoffs.
I mean, maybe a game or two but not a 7 game series against a great team. No. This team is just not good enough as constructed; which tells you how poor this roster really is considering Harden is like single handedly outscoring opponents this year. We are not a top 5 team in this league; maybe not even in the Western conference.
20-5 to close out the season and into the playoffs healthy. anywhere from a 3-5 seed, doesn't really matter
25-0. Harden goes Super Saiyan full power (4th level), CP3, just like Vegeta, is a couple of steps behind, but still operates at 2nd level Super Saiyan. Capella's strength is somewhere in the middle of them. Yeah... that's what I predict.
I have no idea. Harden is great, Capela will help, CP3 is coming around, but the supporting cast is not nearly as good as last year. I am not particularly optimistic. What I want, and what could happen may be very far apart.
Nothing will change, we'll end up 4-6th seed unable to leap OKC or POR and likely face GSW in the 2nd round. This team has been coasting all season, just waiting to get to the playoffs and I don't see that attitude changing. We'll be a tough out for anyone but the road will be difficult.
I think they'll go into the highest gear and finish very strong, but unfortunately a championship team usually needs to reserve that gear for the later rounds of the playoffs. As far as winning it all, realistically our chances are dramatically lower than last season so it will take an all-time playoff performance from Harden and Paul for us to have a decent chance. Fingers crossed.
