MDA needs to take the ball out of hardens hands some after the ASB .

We can revert to ISO a bit if we need to during the playoffs .... but other guys HAVE to help carry the load .

We've got to get more off ball movement going .

Harden is the most lethal motha in the league , but his volume is starting to hurt us now .

Every time harden misses a shot it becomes a defensive highlight for the other team . As great as harden is ... he isn't going to shoot 100 percent .

Literally every time harden misses ... the opposing crowd fills up with energy and the other team feeds off it

We need to force the other guys to move around and make some passes ... because it's seems like they forgot how to play basketball .

When harden gets doubled and we get a 4:3 we should get a good looking shot every time .... but we threw the ball away like 5 times in a row tonight .

I know having a full roster would help us match up better . That's no excuse for how poor we looked tonight . If you blame guys for not bringing enough energy and playing with enough pace you've got 2 rookies on the bench that have great motors and you have a guy in the g-league that was bringing it earlier in the year .

This was the last game before the all star break ... a great opportunity to get into a little rhythm and start working a little defensive swagger.

Well , I guess we have to wait for it .

 

Not quite, Paul George is doing well despite Westbrook though. I am half kidding but Westbrook's shooting is horrific and not conducive to playing efficiently. His assists are great though.

 

To defend, you don't need that much explosion or burst of speed. It's 1000x better than Faried switching onto Teague, or Clint switching onto Luka.

 

Eye test only: James Harden needs to come out sooner in the 3rd quarter. He seems really fatigued around 5:00 minute mark. Especially when he guards multiple possessions against bullies in the post. CP3 needs to check in at that time. Harden seems takes plays off on defense during this quarter. His assignment is usually who’s wide open.

 

It’s an observation you moron when it’s obvious Faried was getting killed defensively.

 

Again after harden hit those three straight threes in the last few minutes and got hot you want him to stop shooting? Give it to whom?

 

It's very funny that we would entertain sending Eric Gordon in a trade for Jimmy Butler..............looking foolish now, just like it was then

With a healthy squad coming back after the break the focus needs to be on DEFENSIVE CONSISTENCY. We are either a middle of the road team or a team that can truly give the Warriors a run for their money. The pieces are all there, putting it all together is another thing.

 

Yea if Harden doesn’t score no one seems to even try or just make dumb mistakes.
Sick of all this lose balls on rebounds is like PJ Gordon or Green can hold the freaking ball.
Then this same three making the same dumb mistakes and turning the ball over

Just shoot the ball when you’re open. Instead of dribbling inside and turning it over. And when they are cover they shoot the ball.
Eric just seems to be out of here doesn’t seem like he is having fun he isn’t engage and makes frustrating mistakes. How many time he is going to step out, travel or make a bad pass to no one. Same with green man just shoot the ball when you’re open and only go in when there’s a clear path.
Shumpet seems uninterested too I don’t see anything that he has brought up. Misses all his shots except one 3 and even his defense I haven’t seen anything good.

Idk why Morey didn’t want to move Eric he hasn’t been playing well since the beginning. Since all the trade rumors, he got Ryanitis after all the trade talk he has suck.

And Harden needs to learn to stop shooting so many 3s. Like at least try to go in and space the floor or get mismatches for other guys not just him. I know whenever he passes, our guys missed wide open shots. But still like vs okc we didn’t need a 3 they were going for two and driving in and Harden Bricked a 3 instead of going for a layup or an alley oop.
Harden should Alternate to be less predictive on his plays. We all know and everyone knows he will shoot the 3 but if he switches to 3s, drives and layups or drives and passes without being constant on his plays he would be unguardable for reals. He needs to be a bit more random
Hopefully next game he gets his 30 and we can just forget about that record.
