My favorites are Mooney, Bennett, Beyer, for different reasons; keenan & McKinnon are pillars, they carry most everything. Don't really hate anyone except Leslie Jones, she's unwatchable in almost everything she's in. To me. When she gets an occasional laugh, she doesn't even realize what it was for, just keeps erroneously repeating whatever expression she thinks is getting the reaction, to exhaustion.
kyle mooney on zoolander 2 kind of ruined him of his sketches for me. probably not his fault his character was so stupid, but I just cant shake it off
All Time . .. I never liked Ellen Cleghorne Not one laugh that I remember I think we have to give the new people some more time. I don't know how much writing they are doing . .. and how much is written for them Rocket River
Seth Meyer. Too political. Not sure why politics has invaded comedy (and yes, it has always been there, but not this pervasive)
Pete Davidson. Is this guy on drugs? He looks like he’s about ready to kick the can any minute. Not only that, but he is not funny.
Definitely it's Leslie Jones. It seems like every one of her characters are the same loudmouth persona. Gets old real quick.
Leslie Jones' schtick is the "black and loud" character. She doesn't really have anything else. As in Seth Rogan's friends in "Knocked Up" talking about his dancing: "He's doing the dice thing too much." "That's all he's got." Pete Davidson is also singularly awful. Maybe he's funnier behind-the-scenes? Maybe his personal travails make the producers reluctant to replace him? He is just not funny. Then again, Jimmy Fallon was no great shakes on SNL (quit laughing, bro!) and went on to good things; ditto Julia Louise-Dreyfus. McKinnon is the best thing on that show now. My wife thinks SNL is mediocre at best and I told her that she missed out on some really good seasons and cast members (she came to the U.S. nine years ago).
Chris Kattan and Jimmy Fallon. Kattan wouldn't have one character that I liked if it wasn't for Will Ferrell and the Butabi Brothers. Fallon is an idiot that can't even keep a straight face during a freakin Justin Timberlake sketch.
For me, it's Kate McKinnon (probably spelled wrong). I can't stand that same face she makes every character she does. She could be funny I think but just resorts to that same stupid face. I have seen her in a couple other things where she was ok but her on SNL and Ghostbusters were extremely cringe worthy. Jones is pretty bad too but doesn't seem like she gets much range to work with. Just angry and loud.
