Looking good, and he looks like he's in slightly better shape too. I would be jealous if we didn't have James MF'in Harden.
pretty impressed with him thus far. far exceeded my expectations. still isn't a lock to be selected just yet though
32/8/8 on solid officiency, with a clutch basket to boot. The only two rookies in recent years to have a game with at least a 32/8/8 were Durant and LeBron. He and Dennis are still taking turns on running the offense while the other one stays in the corner. Rick started staggering Luka's minutes the same way he did with Dirk when he wasn't that old yet: He comes out after 5-6 minutes of the game and reenters with the bench at end of 1st quarter. Because of that, Luka usually has the best +/- of all starters. Dallas' starting five (Luka, DSJ, Wes, Barnes and DJ) has worst net rating of all starting lineups that has played about 200 minutes or so (can't remember the exact number).
lol...his own team engraved "5 miles" on this fat bum's jersey as a reminder/motivation to him to run at least that much every day. Must lead a very unhealthy Mavs lifestyle.
Nobody cares now because the Mavs suck. But you best believe when he and the Mavs start harassing the Rockets over the next decade you’ll start caring.
It's amazing how effective he is considering how "relatively" clumsy he looks. I'm not saying he is clumsy, he just doesn't look that smooth (expected given his age) like other all star level players.
His 1st game after trade and 2nd one after All-Star snub... That's two games after he got a 35-point triple double against 2nd best NBA defense. Checked by guys like Lowry, Danny Green and Siakam. Oh, and by some bum on defense Kawhi Leonard.
13 points in 4th quarter and clutch basket against Portland. He finished with 28/9/6. Last 10 games: 24.4 - 8.8 - 7.1. But he's not an All-star, especially not over Klay and Aldridge. Lol...
Relax. He may not be an all star this year but he is already an all star caliber player. It's not even the most significant snub. What about Gobert? Who actually has his team in the playoffs?
lol the cavs announcer said lukas step back is a mans step back contrasting it with hardens that always travels
I wonder when people in the Kings org will admit to themselves that they ****ed up. I imagine they're still firmly in denial, but at some point they will have to face reality.
Beside all-star captains, Luka has received the most fan votes. Isn't All-star game for the fans? Also, Luka can't do anything about the fact he was drafted to a team that was tanking. Yes, the result matters, but fans have spoken.
