Cp3 and rivers in the court, Houston are negative. Either Cp3 or Rivers with harden in the court is positive. MDA needs to think about how to use Austin, his defence is good
cp3 looking good in stretches man you just dont decline and then make those amazing steals out of thin air leading the lightning fast fastbreaks
CP3 is playing decent defensively, and on offense is knocking down open looks. He has been uncharacteristically sloppy with the ball and is still playing tentative with his hamstring. At this point he is going to need more court time to get comfortable with his hamstring. Until then, he is going to be on and off as we are seeing, though last night had some encouraging moments.
being one of cp3's biggest fans/advocates last season, it's obvious to see he's def not on the same level as the superstar pg we saw last year who instantly lit up that second quarter stretch with EG. But, i was happy to see some burst still in those legs about 5-7 times in the last two games. Getting around fresh rookies and 2nd year players without a pick is still impressive for an undersized pg at 33. Last night I was pretty hard on his decision making (mainly because of the turnovers), but also just how much he was looking to pass ... which sounds dumb of me to say but i think defenses can tell he REALLY doesn't want to shoot it in close. There was a play or two where he actually blew by his guy clean and had the layup or floater but dropped it off to faried whose guy was waiting for the pass. To summarize, I think he's just working his way back in to being more comfortable and AGGRESSIVE when he gets in the lane. I really do wish he'd develop a go-to finish around the rim at this stage of his career. In his prime prime, his right hand floater was that, and it was freakin incredibly accurate. If he can do that, I feel it'll keep the defenses honest enough to open up more of his passing game. His shot isn't too bad right now though. He's shooting less but hitting around 50% overall (a lot due to harden's playmaking).
As long as he can stay healthy, CP3 will be fine. The man has a proven track record of being deadly. Let him work himself back from his injury and learn to trust the leg again. *I know y'all won't because this is ClutchFans lol*.
Man take a break from your keyboard. Everyone needs to stop this narrative that Paul is bad for the team. The wcf were enough proof.
