I think its ironic that one of our arch rival's announcer comes out with this comment and CF starts a thread with 60-70% bashing our GM. I'm starting to think this is a Russian information ops campaign.

BTW, the Russians have a very sophisticated approach to stirring up hatred between the races, genders, etc. Don't fall for it!

No GM is perfect. Morey swings for the fences, but like any good hitter he misses sometimes. Harden was one of the greatest trades perhaps of all-time. He's made quite a few under the radar moves that turned out great as well. Does he miss, yes, but show me one GM that doesn't miss sometimes. I doubt you can.

Tillman is new to being an NBA owner. He's a businessman and I'm sure he's had an impact on Morey's approach this year. He's a Texas guy and I don't believe we've given him much of a chance. I admit the pics of TF holding the jersey up are funny, but I doubt he would stop a move that helps us when a championship.

We're watching something special this year and I hope it can be the ultimate experience. We need guys to step up. We got that against the Jazz, but we have to do it consistently. That's on the players and the coaches. Some additional talent would be great, but sometimes your boss can't hire another superstar salesman and you have to cover that gap and then some.

I'd be hyper happy if with got Brow or JB, but the likelihood of that is low. Morey will make a move if he sees an opportunity, but whether that just clears space for buyouts or adds a piece for MDA to use only the Basketball Gods can tell us now.

 

Thats how low the standard here is for $20m

he was second best shooter on rockets last year... ppl mostly whined and cursed him because of 20 mil salary... but he was a great contributor ...scored 9 ppg and played solid d.... his shooting slump lasted 2/3 weeks only and he shot 39% from 3 on the season on 5 attempts per game

its only that clutchfans whining crybabies created atmosphere / perception that his shot was broken and it wasnt true ...cf mob is wrong most of the time

he was a big reason we won 65 games... with him on the roster we would be 1/2nd seed now
