I'm just worried @Carl Herrera will hate me for invading his territory.

Unless we get Anthony Davis I will be disappointed. I guess its like getting a Rolls Royce or a Camry to replace a Ford Fiesta. Sure, a new Camry is an upgrade, but the Rolls would be an entirely different experience.
What an experience that would be.

eFG% is actually pretty good because it weighs the difference between 3 pointers and 2 pointers.

A guy who goes 3/6 from 2 is just as effective as a guy who goes 2/6 from three. But one guy is shooting 50% and the other is shooting 33% It's dumb to say one is better than the other through FG% if both are scoring the same amount of points on the same amount of shots.

With eFG% it adjust the fact that 3 pointers are worth more. The formula is quite simple.

    (2FGM + [1.5 * 3FGM]) / [FGA]

    So in the example we used: 3 + [0] / 6 = 50% and 0 + [1.5 *2] / 6 = 50%

    1.5 is used as the multiplier because 3 points is worth 150% more than 2 points. (2 * 1.5) = 3.

    MATH.

ts% favors players who go to the free throw line, so it's good to use context when applicable. Not all players go the free throw line. Klay Thompson for example has never broken 60% TS despite being an extremely efficient player whether through FG% or eFG%. I think I prefer ts% for scoring and eFG% for shooting. That's just me through. It's always good to use context when using stats instead of just throwing them out there and saying one stat is the best stat to use.

Now we have the city bus and sometimes don’t have a token or even the right change. Csmries are nice. Busses to Bentleys will never happen...

I agree - although TS doesn’t really take into account FG% vs FT% so you can get some varying results - for example, guys like Dwight or Shaq who have high FG and low FT.

    It’s remotely related.
If morey is not willing to give up two firsts with knight. then he has to deal gordon for these guys this season. It make senses if he wants to resign some buyout players

If we get Matthews cool but we literally don't need anyone to do this. We got Harden, Capela, and Paul. We got hungry guys ready to create a legacy and you people are just worried about shipping guys off

He's proven though. And he is a serious 3 point shooter that hasn't been able to benefit from it until an elite playmaker like Harden or CP3 comes along.

This is just my speculation, but something I thought of today: It's been reported by a credible source (NYT's Stein) that Utah and Memphis have held exploratory talks about a potential Rubio-Conley swap. If a Houston deal involves Memphis (i.e. Feigen's JaMychal Green report and The Ringer's tweet about a Knight/1st discussion with the Grizzlies), it's entirely possible that Utah folks could have knowledge of it based on their own talks with Memphis as they try to construct a deal.

Most players want money, the best place for money is New York now.
Playing time is money, but there is no way playing time can beat New York.
I want money = I want to be in New York.
