House would have been our second best player tonight

Yes house is a role player .

But as far as role players go , House has been fairly consistent.

With EG , PJ , and river throwing up stinkers tonight . House would have been our second best player if he brought his average game .

It's ridiculous that we are waiting for buyout season to try and maximize our MLE

I understand you want to field the best team possible towards the end of the season , but the more house sits out the more likely it is his form slips .

Either pay him more than the min or live with him being an RFA next season . Or maybe try a 2-year deal so he gets guaranteed money and hits FA earlier . The dude was good for us .

This whole house Fiasco is crazy. They need to get this guy back now. Its not just about what the guy can do by himself he is another option for harden and Cp3 and how he helps his team mates. In foot ball you would never send a productive receiver to the practice squad but that's just what our organization did. The Clark two way contract upgrade was premature Clark has not paid the dues that House has. Don't get me wrong he has got a chance with more seasoning and development.

It also came across my mind that if the Rox bring him back he may be rusty from this ridiculous stand off with the front office. Not sure if he's played yet in the G-league. Just stupid.

If House was on this team, we would have only lost by 50 instead of by 85.

Point is, I don't understand this thread. House wouldn't have stopped Embiid.

There has to be some type of Clark and CP3 connection for Clark to get converted so soon into his 2 way deal.

Its clearly Cp3's influence. It appears that he is a disciple of CP3 lol

He scored 15 points in that Griz game before he was sent to Viper right? Without those 15 points, imaging Ennis was in there in place of him, that would have been a loss too. So really after he was gone, we got killed by Nets and pretty much outplayed by the Lakers the entire game saving the overtime, and routed by the sixers. There you have it. This is stupid.

Clark got a chance before House and was playing very well .

His shot has gone cold ; but before that he was looking great as a 3 and D player and he was really solid on his defensive IQ for a rookie .

Clarks shot went cold ... he stopped getting PT , House stepped in and started making 3's ... now Clark is back and he's a little better from 3 but doesn't have the driving ability that house does

    Embiid only scored 32

We could have kept ganging up on him and wearing him out .

The game was lost because the refs ****ed us and no one could make an open 3. House at least gives you another option

the sixers are just a horrible matchup right now without capela and the $160 million man.

"only scored 32." If that's a consolation prize, that's just sad.

He only played 27 minutes and had 32/14. We did gang up on him; whenever he caught the ball in the post, he was always met with a double team. But we just kept fouling. Honestly though, we barely made him work for his points.

So soon? Clark's 45 days were up, and he accepted a very team-friendly contract.

2-Ways simply allow teams to decide on contracts for undrafted players like Clark, based upon real NBA game performance, rather than (by comparison) having to negotiate contracts with 2nd Rounders before the season starts, without as much proof of concept.

Some of those fouls were bs .

But the difference between embiid playing 27 minutes in a blowout vs 35+ in a tight game is huge .

IF house could have contributed on offense the game is closer , embiid feels the pressure and has to keep executing the whole game .

    I agree in general .

But seriously, compare an average house game to the production that Gordon , rivers, and tucker had tonight . It would be better lol.

And in the meantime we can lose games

And if/when we finally bring House back he won't have played in the NBA for a month and so he will be out of form .

Sure if we lock up house using MLE now then maybe a great FA becomes available and we are kicking ourselves . But maybe no one good is out there and in the meantime we've deprived ourselves depth and House comes back rusty .

It's not worth it IMO . Just sign him and get this over with
