You're listening to the wrong people! Haven't you heard? holic stated 17 years ago that House Jr was going to be a talent, no one believed him. But he said it!!!!!!!! Let's all praise holic guys
We need interior defense... if he goes HAM on defense, he’ll get some 3 point shots as reward. We suck at boxing people out in the paint... except for tucker. Maybe Capela can take him under his wing and gain some confidence.
I don’t inderstand Holic....he doesn’t like Capela yet he likes Thon Maker. Likes Cousins yet he doesn’t care too much for Embiid. Haven’t checked lately....maybe he has flipped on each?
There's been no flip on Capela. In fact he's doubled down. He's now moved on from Maker to suggest that a person who hasn't played in the NBA for a few years, would be a better fit for the Rockets than Capela. The guy is delusional, and has completely lost it. At first it was frustrating seeing his stupidity, but now it's comedy gold.
Bruno has far more upside and potential in today’s NBA than MCW.... sad to say. MCW was rookie of the year once.
He still doesn't seem like he understands the energy level required to compete in the NBA. Good to see progress, but no team in the NBA needs a backup PF more than the Rockets so the coaching staff must REALLY not believe in him.
Just to be clear...there is no "calling him up." He is a Viper and not under contract with the Rockets. However, the Rockets could sign House to a NBA contract and free up a "2-way" contract to use. And then use that 2-way on Bruno. (Unless there is some restriction on 2-ways and years of NBA service that Bruno already has. I don't know.) Bruno's measurables and style of play look the part. Could he be a Gerami Grant or Pascal Siakam type player? He looks the part. But everything comes down to his BB IQ and "general feel" for the game. I have my doubts about those. It is that aspect that is keeping him out of a rotation.
Well i wouldn’t mind since capela is hurt . Sign house and give that 2 way to Bruno!!! (If I read that correct earlier) See what he’s made of .. maybe like the year capela was playing while Dwight was hurt.. who knows ? I didn’t think much of house at first but now look!!
His feel for the game has improved, but his main problem remains rebounding. He looks lost under the basket. Yes, he did have one nice box out against the SCW, but there have been many occasions where he hasn't even tried to challenge the opposing player. Hart is better than him in this aspect, although Bruno is more talented than him. I want Bruno to succeed, really I do, but if a 6' 10'' or 11'' guy didn't put an effort on the boards when needed, I would have benched him if I were the coach, no matter how well he was shooting. If he wants to play in the NBA, he will need to get at least 6 good rebounds a game. Nene should tell him, to get serious or Europe or China awaits you. The Raptors and the Kings didn't give up on him for nothing.
Good point, he has more than 4 years of NBA service so I believe will be inegible for a two-way, which is a shame. If we can't figure out a trade and Bruno is the backup plan, we need to cut Melo to free up a roster spot.
Not a chance. I doubt if he can even grab a single rebound at the basket under pressure. He can space the floor as a backup 4. His shotblocking has gotten somewhat better, but Zhou had better timing on his shotblocks. Bruno is an overall better player than Zhou, but he can't handle physical play. Hartenstein is not as talented as Bruno, but he is stronger than him.
