Would also send MCW to G League to work on his 3 ball, especially if he's not trusted to play even garbage minutes in double digit blow outs. Same with Chriss.
He's in the G-League playing big minutes, working on his game, developing his shot and learning our system. To me, that's more valuable than sitting on our bench and playing 5-9 min a game of garbage time. Until they feel he can contribute like House is doing, they'll continue giving him 30 min a game in the G-League.
Again compare what SKILL SET he can provide and not the points he's averaging. Have IQ when assessing. We need 3 things on the Rockets; LENGTH, 3 POINT SHOOTING, and DEFENSE. Chexk check check. He doesnt need to create because thats CP3 and Beards job. Play good defense and hit the WIDE ASS OPEN 3 at a high clip (41%). You're thibking too hard and not looking at ROLES.
Roles, roles, role that is what makes a team... he fits and is obtainable Why not it just seems so logical...
Watched the Vipers game last night. Bruno shows real potential. Shooting 42.7% from 3 on 5.7 attempts 58% from 2 3 BPG What impressed me the most was his focus/Intensity. His head was on a swivel and gave effort and check this: He boxed out!
Seems like he should be on the bench over Chriss. But there's probably contractual/cap reasons preventing that.
Yeah, but can he play pool like my buddy James and Mark(shout out!)? Coz if he can then I'm a believer... jkjkjk. Bring him on board! The dude is a gem. Needs a chance. Personal opinion.
When I started this thread many members cracked jokes and laughed. It probably was more so lonely trolls and not real fans. Im glad that people are starting to see the point I was trying to make.
Bruno looking like the 4/small ball 5 that Rockets desperately trying to trade for. Worth back up minutes at the very least. Better fit than Chris, VE, Melo and even Hartenstein (right now).
Morey needs to lock him up before he gets poached. Put him out there and see what James can do with him
Thanks a lot. Yes, he is improving like you said. I liked the box out the most. I did see additional highlights from this game on Youtube. There were times where he looked lost around the basket when the Santa Cruz players attacked and finished at the rim. He still has a ways to go. I wish he could race down the court and block shots at the rim, but it's okay if he can't. He is learning how to set a pick, it was nice to see that. A 10 day contract might be good for him, but he should complete his Viper stint and play under Nene's guidance in the off season.
