Harden's step back three was already an incredible weapon last year and he's improved upon it this year. That's a good sign for us because there's not much teams can do to take it away besides letting him drive to the rim, which is even worse for the defense.
I love it. But Harden can NOT have a miserable playoffs again this year. Last year was solid. But he just can't give up like he did a few years back vs SAS in game 6. Or he can't have a 13 turnover game like he did against GS. We have options. So he doesn't need to do it all himself if his shots not falling
Harden must have reflected on playoff scenarios where defences tighten up and realized the need for an unguardable step back 3 to elevate his game. The man is a legit strategist and work horse, come playoffs he's not going to need to worry so much about set defences and the ability to get to the rim. He's just letting loose on his step back 3s to get it ready for the playoffs picture. Master strategist!
I could watch those step back 3s for 10 years straight and they would still stun me every time. They are absurd.
That didn't necessarily happen last year so there's no reason to stress about that too much. What we need to be worried about is health, health, health. Rockets as a franchise are cursed with health since the turn of the century.
Health and better role players are needed for Harden to make a big run. Picks are our only real assets for a solid trade at this point, and unfortunately that's not going to be easy.
true. hes going all in and the management should follow his example. They better find that missing piece soon. with the way this season is turning out i feel like theres no clear front runner.
So not true. Jordan's highest scoring year was his third year in the league, when he was 23. Almost every significant statistical season high for him came before age 26. Jordan won 3 more titles after age 30, but didn't really up his game much after he won those first 3 before he turned 29.
