    The Dems don't need any face saving. Trump shut it down and he said he'd take responsibility. What this really becomes is the slippery slope to authoritarianism. Manufacture a crisis and then declare emergency powers because you don't have the votes in Congress. It's third world dictator bull****.

    That's insane that FDA food inspection personnel is considered non-essential. USDA food safety service (meat products) inspectors are considered essential and not furloughed.
