I wonder who BOB throws under the bus when he talks to ownership. The GM? Would he blame Watson?

    The Texans themselves do this.

    Replaced by who though?

All depends on the price. Matthieu been good all season, he's not usually the guy getting beat.

If you're a team trying to win you need to fill holes not create more.

JJo (at his age) and Kareem can definitely be replaced...but Matthieu will be a really hard guy to replace.

I'm not excusing the offense today though. You are the one excusing the defense.

I think it's time we part ways with J Jo & K Jax. I'd rather have young, quick, athletic DB's with something to prove in the secondary rather than overpaid old, slow ones with waning athleticism.

Like I said, never thought this team was close to being completely built.

Winning 11 games with an o line and secondary this bad, and no secondary WR.., I’m glad they have Watson.

The defense is a high priced wreck. They need a new system.

If the offense decided to "play differently" in the second half, they'd have gotten back in the game. Of course, they were too busy being absolutely worthless for nearly the entire game.....and yet here the fans are to come to their defense.

So in your mind the Colts were choosing to not score in the second half....just like the Texans chose to not score nearly the entire game.

I mean, I just don't get why so many fans are doing mental gymnastics to try and deflect blame from the offense by trying to blame the defense more than they deserve. I know in certain instances it has to do with who is playing QB for the Texans, but outside of that crazy kid, it makes no sense.

And logic that says “the Texans will always be bad” isn’t logic.

I think his point is that the offense is a larger problem than the defense at least today .

I'm pointing out that the defense did their job in the 2nd half, the offense never did their job outside of one drive the entire game.

You dont unload kareem. You pay him or Mathieu to be a safety and that is all. They are no longer able to play corner. Then you unload the money and picks on corners and tackles and guards

    You sound insane.

Literally no one is defending the offense.

    No one.

People are merely pointing out the defense sucked too.

Giving up TDs on literally the first two drives of the game and putting your team down 14-0 is “bad”

The o-line looks worse than it actually is because Watson his horrible at reading blitzes and holds on to the ball too long. He's also very athletic but sometimes just runs into the rusher making it easier for the rusher.

They also made a huge commitment to the line. He doesn’t even have to get rid of the ball quickly.

Their GM made protecting Luck the number one priority. It worked.

No, you said the offense cost them the game. Which is flat out untrue. Both the offense and defense were not good enough to win the football game. You are also trying to make it seem like holding the Colts scoreless in the 2nd half was an accomplishment ignoring the fact that the Colts were up 21-0 and given the way the Texans offense was playing, had no real reason to run up the score.
