Rivers and House have been doing well in the starting role. We need CP3 to be healthy throughout the playoffs, and EGO hasn't exactly been as effective when he played. The elder Rockets should come off the bench when they come back.

he doesn't have to come off the bench in order to reduce his minutes.

To be benched for Rivers of all people given the history would be a slap in Paul’s face. If you said give him less minutes ok, but to bring CP off the bench won’t fly

    2nd unit -
    EGO - YES
    CP - NAY
Let Rivers and EGO be 6th and 7th men
I also like the idea of House starting. He's been a tough nut

I like the idea of rotating James, CP and Rivers for ball handlers

House has earned the starting spot, no doubt. Rivers' been playing great, but I don't understand how easily people forget how great a healthy CP3 is. If he's not healthy, he shouldn't play at all, but if he is, he will and should be starting, make no mistake

If the idea is to make sure CP3 is fresh during the playoffs, that makes sense to me. He should start but his minutes really need to be managed well. Not only for this year but next 3 years. EG should come off the bench for optimal effectiveness

Haha come on, MDA wouldnt sit CP3. Rivers will cut down his usage. EGO hits the wood is natural slot

Was that meant to be serious? CP3 making about $36M and coming off the bench. Wow....just, WoW.

Yes, there is no doubt that Chris should be the starter if he is fit. His shot will come around. Rivers can still get valuable minutes off the bench, and reduce the load on him.

Yea I think we should keep him starting the rest of the season. Cp3 needs to be limited to 20 min a game until the playoffs.

I actually think CP3 off the bench is the best move - but I doubt itd happen due to contract amount...
Rivers/Harden/EGo/PJ/CC starting... Harden could exert himself but still has guys he can dish off to... this would be a slower iso heavier pace with Harden running the show...
CP3 running the second unit with Nene, the Green/House effect and Ennis or Clark... this would be more ball movement and faster pace with CP3 directing traffic...
And obviously you would have crossover between CP3 and the starting unit... with CP3 also closing out tight games... but keeping him at around 30 mins...

I'd also add Hartenstein (or acquire a big) to the mix to alternate with Nene on like b2bs... or if we wanna go smaller we use the other of Ennis or Clark option...

solid 10 man rotation... really 11 with whoever Nene is alternating with...

Let a defense try to get into a rhythm against those different lineups... lol

It’s not off bench or not. It’s the amount of minutes they will play including Harden. I actually rather see Gordon used more to relif Harden. Harden is the one man we absolutely need him to be healthy.
