Draymond is like Rodman in the 90s Bulls. Without Rodman, Jordan wouldn't have 6. Jordan would have 3+, but less than 6 without Wormy.
Iggy's importance is also underrated. (Well, he did win a Finals MVP.) He's another glue guy they need off the bench. His aging will also weaken them, more than people realize. the Warriors' window of dominance is closing. They will still be a contender for a while, but not as unbeatable as they have been. That's why I always felt that focusing on beating them and ignoring everything else, even mortgaging the future, was not a wise thing to do. The West is as competitive as ever. Being able to beat GSW does not guarantee a championship, not anymore.
the other day on gsom some gsw fans were blaming loss vs lakers on the refs i told them thats how rockets fans felt in game 7 wcf and posted the yt link with bad calls the next day i got this
Warriors: "KD - Break glass in case of trouble" That is what they did last year. Would love to get KD off that team to expose Curry, tbh.
If the Lakers play the Warriors in the playoffs this season, expect the Lakers to get very physical with Curry.
The Worriers need him to start hitting 3s at a nice clip. He is being sagged off the funniest way. Defense alone is not enough. PJ Tucker makes him look like a school boy on Offense.
That is absolutely the recipe with Curry. That's where we have to see just how far the NBA will extend the "freedom of movement" rules into the playoffs. You need to go all "Ron Harper" on Curry.
I have only have joked in the past when I said that the last 3-4 years, teams should get really physical with Curry early in series and games. If you are going to lose to the Warriors, as constructed, take the chance of a foul call of suspension/ejection. The year the Cavaliers beat them, it was in large part because in transition, the Cavs just stomped Curry when he would try to defend.
Why would he do that? Is he unhappy there or does he just really want to stay that badly? Are the warriors actively looking to trade Dray or has it even been rumored? I haven’t heard anything.
People seem to forget he was a top 3 center before his injury. He also shot 3s at a respectable percentage. Those wide open shots that Green is getting will not be a problem for Cousins to shoot and make. Defenses will no longer sag... the lane will re-open once again. Think about it... if we had Cousins he would instantly be our best shooting big man.
After seeing this I had to go check to see if I was banned from GSOM, turns out I'm not. Blazer's Edge and Welcome To Loud City on the other hand....
