Time to get in there with the ox! First game all season where B'Ob moves the pocket for Deshaun all throughout the game; or Cox will be banging the middle all day. Texans win 28 to 24. Sproles is still on that roster. =( Eagles let goff have every 4 yard pass imaginable took away everything past that it seemed. The biggest regular season game to me was 2011 vs Atlanta and Cincy, one was to see how the team would bounce back after losing schaubie the other to clinch 1st playoff berth. New Orleans game 2015 when the Texans D made Brees look like a rookie from a division 3 school with how they shattered that o line. Weeden saving that season and beating the Colts.
No way; Luck & Darnold the past two weeks have killed the Texans by avoiding the rush and extending plays, putting pressure on an already suspect secondary. Wentz could have done the same. Foles isn't a statue - but he's a much better fit against our front seven. The guys that scare me are Sproles and Ertz. Ugh. They'll give our LBs nightmares.
I believe in the leadership of this team starting with O’Brien and the captains of this team. Watt Hopkins Mathieu Watson Joseph DT And so on. Also I believe eagles come out flat and lose this game but win the next. Bcuz philly will think it’s 2018 all over again but we have to end that this Sunday.
Eagles got the ball out quickly vs Donald's pass rush. Not sure if that helps or hurts our secondary. Slants with YAC vs slow-developing bombs...
Hoping for a miraculous HOU win + NE loss against the Bills. Bills with Josh Allen are not terrible, plus it's a rivalry game and the Patriots are looking vulnerable. If they only managed to score 10 points against the Steelers defense there is a chance that the Bills can shut them down.
Which part of this would be miraculous? The Texans beating the Eagles? Or the Texans beating the Eagles *and* the Pats losing to the Bills? I certainly don't think a 10-4 team beating a 7-7 team would be miraculous. Man, you guys really need to learn to enjoy this.......
I think the NE loss would be a shocker. When was the last time Brady lost 3 in a row? In December none the less
Seems like everyone is jumping on the whole Nick Foles thing given how the Texans played vs the Jets and they played against the Rams. The Rams peaked in November and are getting exposed, their defense is playing terrible outside of Aaron Donald, and Jared Goff is regressing at an alarming rate. They’re a serious Gurley injury away from completely imploding. Philly looked better than they have all year but they caught the Rams at the right time. Meanwhile the Jets are playing better, especially the defense. Darnold had a great game but our pass rush did not show up until late and we played flat. If we play like we give a damn, I don’t see us struggling worth the Eagles at all, we’re a better team to this point of the year. If we play like we did for the majority of the Jets game we could be in trouble. The 1st round bye imo is enough motivation for them to come to play. Deshaun will have his moments against a patch worked secondary and the Texans win 31-20. Now let’s go lock up this 1st round bye.
Watson needs to see this better. Has DT for 20 yards wide open at the boundary. That is just a lack of trust as Watson is looking that direction. Hopefully that is seen on film, and Watson can trust that DT will run that post route instead of the go.
Look at Wes Welker working with the RB's. One wonders if Wes is going to have a bigger role next year.
