Man, I didn't watch the post game show. I see lots of Kenny shade in this thread. He clownin' again?

The Rockets have the worst record in Post Game shows. Always lose the post game show.

Imagine how much we would have won by if MCW had gotten to play.

The most important one, Harden did not win. The Finals. Just saying. It was too early for him to stand up against Lebron.

Collective failure of KD, WB, Ibaka and JH.

That record only accounts for when JH was in Houston.

When the world is hating on the Rockets, it usually means we did something well. Bring on the hate. We need to embrace it @DreamShook .

On First Things First this morning it was pointed out that when Harden goes up to take a shot, he leans so far back that even if the defender initally avoids making contact on the way up, he can't avoid making contact with Harden's lower body due to his leaning. This is an integral part of his game and helps explain how Harden gets to the line so much. And it's literally by design because Harden going to the line opens up opportunities for Gordon and the others by forcing the other team to focus so much on him. In a way, he's gaming the system by using certain tactics that result in his getting to the line. Not surprisingly, a lot of opposing players don't like this at all hence all of the "sore" feelings we saw from LA last night after the game - especially from the King of LA. Now, I wonder what the reaction around here would be if other teams used the same tactics on the Rox. Most likely there'd be a lot of complaining about how the refs/NBA have it in for the Rox because they just don't like them. Oh well...

Rockets do well when the world hates them and give them no expectations. Rockets currently getting a lot of pity and it's messing up their mojo.

What I was trying to say. He could not get out of the West to meet up with him in the Playoffs.

So the head to head is just a regular season one (most of it with Lebron in the East, 2 games a year). Right until this year Lebron joined the West.

Harden is the better offensive talent, there should not be a question about it.

Lebron has more experience leading a team and playing Vice GM of a team, a smart motivator, entrepreneur.
He lacks the killer instinct of MJ or KB because there is more to life than just b-ball.

MJ and KB were just hardcore fanatics. Harden is a softer fanatic.

That was BS. The opponent is wrecklessly attempting to block a Step-Back and landing in Harden's landing spot. That's a league rule to prevent the Kawhi injury by Pachulia. The league rightfully wants to protect their superstar shooters, and they ALL get that call ... just that Harden does so many Step Back, he has much more defenders wrecklessly landing under him by lunging for a block.

If you are going to jump forward to try to contest a Step-Back, you need to jump to the side. Defenders avoid landing under the shooter all the time...and if they don't, then they can injure the shooter.

THIS! And the reason we see this with Harden so much is he isn't afraid to play in tight spaces. He is willing to take his chances in that scenario whereas most NBA players don't like playing in close quarters. So we see these situations pop up because Harden invites them. And like HP said, the defense is undisciplined in their approach. That is on them.

It's so stupid, because all the sheep that are complaining, didn't actually watch the game. Combination of 19 FTAs + "hands behind the back" + narrative that Harden flops + majority are anti-Harden/pro-LA = tHiS hAs tO sToP

Exactly. You don't see the Spurs acting dumb like the Lakers, they are actually disciplined and don't give up too many calls on James.

Maaaan, if this becomes a trend, Dantoni should absolutely experiment with this. This would be amazing if this would stop gassing James and then we could close game out in a dominant fashion.
