About bloody time thou... If they don’t do this, at least try another move like starting Clark at the 3!
Im sensing that while the team is trying to come out off the hole. Management is also hoping that EG can show enough of an improvement to pull a good enough trade return. I think the move to the starting lineup is much more about showcasing EG to potential trade partners.
Ennis is our loophole. It has proved for previous matches. We can put Anthony back to our bench. I trust we can still get back to the playoff and beat warriors
it's not Ennis was shutting down people left and right. tbh he is too small for the 3 to play the switching defense we want to.
Yawn....shuffling the deck chairs on the titanic. EG already plays MORE minutes than last year, so this won't help the overall results. I will concede that our first team may now perform better as a result. However our TRASH bench now will be even worse, and be completely run off the floor in their minutes, with NO scorer in the group: (Nene, Ennis, Clark, House, etc.)
What is there to lose honestly? Try this and see if it works and if it doesn't work, perhaps try Clark or Green at the 3. We need to start experimenting before its too late into the season. Similar to what Celtics recently did to change their season direction, sometimes a simple thing such as a lineup change can make all the difference.
This makes sense on so many levels. Start the best remaining 5 players that they have from last year. Let them set the tone and the rest can follow. That 5 was also their best lineup last year. Now they have a 3&D guy off the bench in Ennis and they can focus on finding a 6th man stop gap... JR?
