Miami beat the Patriots and the Chiefs are struggling against Baltimore, blown opportunity for the pretender Texans

Ugh defensive pressure was non existent and on offense this team continues to be stuck in third gear without Fuller.

Hilton should be blatantly double teamed unless you’re in the red zone. I’ve never seen a player burn a team as historically bad as he does to Houston.

    Clowney wasn't the problem

Texans were bad on defense and offense and only lost by 3

10-6 or maybe 11-5 and lose in the first round... BOB will buy himself at least another couple years to make sure he can transform Watson into a game manager.

What a golden opportunity to get the 2nd seed in the AFC. Squandered.

“We went 10-6 John. Doesn’t matter we lost our playoff game. 10-6 and division champs John!”

This feels rigged. NFL want people to keep watching all the regular season games.

Would Cal have the guts to fire BOB?

Because of the super periodic and limited NFL schedule people are way too affected by that week's results.

A close loss to a hot division rival after winning nine in a row is not the end of the world.

It's those first three weeks that are, and were, the big issue.

He gets next year and that's it. It's about time to (insert euphemism here) or find somebody better.

30-1 Leading halftime, BoB is soooo great, even though he's conservative he's playing the game by rushing and wasting time. who cares if we don't score td, we won!

    Meet

10-36 tied/behind halftime, Don't worry BoB is still great even when behind, he has bad time management and his tendency to rush the ball basically every fking first down is noted, but we will still b a force to b scared of in playoffs.

Don't worry about this loss, we barely lost by only a score, sooooo close.

Don't bother trying to convince BoB defenders that our HC is hot sht, they will have an excuse for everything to defend him.

It's not the loss, it's the coaching that has me (for one) upset. I see improvement by the players, I understand the limitations of talent, I'll give Watson an off-game, but BOB continues to be BOB.

eta: and Romeo is not immune from this criticism either

So many losses by less than a possession. Except BOB's famously bad in 2 minute drills, so this continues to be a hill he can't get over, and the losses -by -less -than -a -possession stat will continue to grow.

Clowney is a solid non alpha piece on defense. The problem is that Clowney is likely going to be elite money and he isn’t elite. He isn’t a bust and could be a really solid 15 year type career guy... but at the numbers being thrown around, no thank you.

He and Mario Williams can meet in 10 years and discuss how to do just enough to get someone to over pay you.
